Today I went to Starbucks and was served by a nice barista named Nick, or Nic, not sure what their spelling was but they had pretty green hair. Anyways- I asked if they could just make my shaken oatmilk espresso in the cup because I’m allergic to dairy. I hadn't been to the new one in Christiansburg!!! Very nice place!! SO happy it is there!!!!
The push for profitability is showing more and more. Cold drinks are filled with ice and the flavor added (dragonfruit) is minimal. I paid nearly $6 for a medium drink with a small amount of water/powder and a large amount of ice.

Starbucks Coffee Company is a popular spot. The workers are super kind and fast. They have a quiet place all day with a place to sit and an outlet. The coffee is delicious. The turkey sage croissant is a great option, and they can warm it up. They also have cake pops, coffee, and Boba drinks that kids love. The place is kid-friendly with many options for kids. The staff is always kind and helpful. They even give pup cups to dogs. The drive thru is also a great option, and the staff can memorize regular customers' drinks. Overall, Starbucks Coffee Company is a great place to meet with people, study, or just chill and kill some time.
