“I want to give a big shout-out to our server April. My son and I travel through five or six times a year and we always stop at the Clearbrook Denny's on our way back to Virginia. April always makes everyone feel welcome and treats all guests with the same energy and respect. She remembers my son's Dr Pepper and my Sweet Tea without fail, an amazing attention to detail considering the hundreds if not thousands of people she sees coming into the restaurant. We always have a good experience eating there, the quality and quantity of food for us has been consistent, and why we keep returning. There are days when the shift seems short staffed and there is an understandable wait but Miss April does her best to see everyone is taken care of. We shall return again!“

“Came here one day in search of good mexican food and they did not fail! I ordered a menudo, birria tacos, a al pastor torta, and a tamale in one sitting so I can try everything to see if I found good mexican food. I did. This place not only served the best authentic mexican food, but the staff and cleanliness was also great. Spoke to the owner and asked if he would be interested in catering my daughters quinceanera and he did. That was on the 31st of Aug, 2024. He took care of everything so that my wife and I could just enjoy and try to make our daughter feel like she was in top of the world. “We walked into to this old school, counter service dinner on a whim, and I'm so glad we did. We were met immediately by the very friendly owners/operators on a very busy Labor Day morning and encouraged to grab two of only a few available seats. We ordered the Eggs Benedict and a Breakfast Sampler. So much food for the very budget friendly cost, and it was all PERFECT! The Eggs Benedict was unbeatable, and the pancakes with the Breakfast Sampler were phenomenal. The hash browns were perfectly crisped and the bacon was on the verge of being crispy but still chewy... supreme!
If you happen by, you must stop. It is even worth going a bit out of your way to come and grab a bite.“

“We stopped at Longhorn Steakhouse after a show at Shenandoah Summer Theater. We went as a group. Longhorn handled or group magnificently. We were seated promptly (of course, we had reserved seats) and or good was served quickly. And, as usual, of food was properly prepared and warm. Drinks were quickly served and topped off appropriately.

“Delicious pupusas! Very fresh and generous sized portions. Not much to look at from the outside, in fact I've driven passed it forever without even noticing it was there. Don't let that fool you, however. Very friendly inside and these guys can cook! No chips and salsa offered but we didn't need it. We tried a little of everything as you can order most of the menu items a la cart. I'd say the tacos and pupsas are the stars of the show. We'll definitely be back for more.“
