“Had a great lunch today at 42 deli. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and lunch was delicious! I had the special Ham Delight sandwich with a side of gumbo (with the perfect amount of spice). The restaurant is clean, the food is great, and the staff is friendly, what more could anyone want?! I will be back!”

Service, food and portion size was absolutely phenomenal! The restaurant was immaculately clean, probably the cleanest we've ever patroned. As a professional cleaner (that notices the smallest of things) that says a lot! Such a good experience- we're still talking about it the next day! Will most definitely, without a doubt, go back! “Mehhh what did I expect. I go through the drive through to grab a burger before work. I’m asked to pull forward and they will bring it to me. 12 minutes later I walk in asking about my food. The girl has the gall to tell me it just came up and she just put fries in it. First glance grease is already soaking through the bag. I touch the fries and they are only slightly warm. Shared my displeasure. I didn’t have time to wait to have it remade.”

“Loved the hand cut steaks. They were cooked to perfection with the slightest char flavor. Only one other restaurant has achieved such perfection (Boots Steakhouse in NC). My steak melted in my mouth and was perfectly cooked to medium rare temperature. The baked potato, sauteed mushrooms and bread with cinnamon honey butter were also outstanding. Our server, Lisa, was pleasant and accommodating. Overall, from a very discerning gourmand, this wonderful restaurant is well worth the trip and has top notch food and service. We also loved the homemade apple pie and the drinks were excellent. Kudos to the chef. We will be back to visit the Cat and the Owl!”
