“I doubt we’ll go back to Colonial Heights Applebees. I’ve never seen an Applebees as run down as this place is. Walls, window sills, carpet… all filthy. Glad we didn’t invite anyone to join us!“

“I tried something new for the 1st time and fell in love! You must try the Thai curry sauce on your wings when you go, it's got a great kick and much flavor!! The waiters were very kind and patient as we figured out what to eat, and the wait time was great!“

“I want this place to be a five so bad. So much potential. Food is good and that helped by the homemade nature of it. That said, the aioli condiments are a bit rich. I wish the staff were more friendly on a consistent basis. Times it feels like customers are a nuisance. Understand people can be annoying but people are the reason restaurants stay open. Atmosphere has potential. At times music is annoying and loud for an otherwise empty restaurant which it is fairly often. Burgers are great as are the zucchini fries and Mac and cheese. Staff sometimes talk to each other, which isn’t a problem except they somewhat frequently are loudly complaining about something.“

“The place was warm and cozy! Tabby promptly greeted me as I approached the bar and made me feel as if we had known each other for years! The bar top wasn't sticky (I Don't Know the name of the place whose bar top was). My wings were cooked to perfection, and the other food I saw coming out of the kitchen looked appealing as well. Living in Richmond, the commute to this bar isn't one met with much hesitancy.“

“I had the most incredible dining experience at the Petersburg location on my drive back to NC!!! Before I walked in the door, the hostess was grabbing a menu to seat me. EVERY SINGLE staff member had a smile on their faces and was friendly and welcoming. The waiter was absolutely exceptional, anticipating needs, making great drink and food suggestions, delivering timely service, etc.The food was absolutely phenomenal and very reasonably priced! I visited a 5 star restaurant the day before and the Croaker’s spot topped my experience there, by far! I’m so incredibly impressed and proud to support this quality of restaurant with a proud African American ownership! THIS is the type of business I will travel out of my way to support! Kudos! Kudos! “Well I gave you the best review possible a few weeks ago and it was terrible then. Today the garlic fries were great and I dont like fries much. The meatballs were warm but not hot that's why it is only one star. Serve hot food hot.Update the Chicken Parmesan was very good.The menu prices are lower than most the competition.“

Sustainers Pub is a small but quaint area. A good spot to come in and grab a few bite to eat on their limited menu. Area is limited on sitting, but they have a good selection of drinks.Overall a spot for people who don't want to travel very far off the installation, while wanting to grab a snack and few drinks. Televisions are available for watching sports. It might be short staffed, but workers are accomadating and friendly.“

“For reasons that I can't tell you we had not been to Applebee's in a while, he stopped by tonight on the way home and everybody was very happy with their meal. I especially enjoyed the mushroom burger My wife can't get enough of the oriental chicken salad and my son's grilled chicken and fries was spot on.“
