“I have been there twice now in the last month. I totally recommend the "honey Peppa pizza". By far, the best pizza they serve. It's sooooo delicious. Perfectly balanced sweet n spicy. “We have enjoyed Benny’s at many different locations but this one was great. I called ahead one day to have a large pizza picked up right before the NFL playoff first round. I figured I would still be waiting on such a high demand day. However, I walked in 10 min early and my pizza was hot and ready to go home for the game. The pizza was delicious…especially the crust. I will always use Benny’s as my pizza source where available.”

I can see the walkway to the back seating area being challenging but there is room upfront for seating. The doors don’t have automatic opening buttons, but there are 2 doors so despite it being an old building you should be able to get in if someone holds the door for you.”

“For those of you who long to be sitting outside on the streets of Paris eating traditional French food in an authentic atmosphere…this is as close as you’re going to get.The owner, Frederic Boukaïa, was everything you’d hope for.We dined for lunch and started off with a glass of rose—turned into two later on :)You MUST get the French onion soup to start your meal. We also got the escargot and it was fantastic. First time we’ve had escargot topped on mushroom rather than croissant/baguette. Phenomenal!For our entrees we chose:Leg of Lamb & Swiss sandwich on baguette. Perfect combination of succulent and crispy.Spinach Onion and Mushroom Quiche-we eat a lot of quiche and it was hands down the best we’ve ever had.So happy we decided to stop in Winchester for lunch here on our way back to DC. Only 1.5 hrs from DC! Well worth the drive. We will be back.”

“This was a great stop! Amazing ice cream at a price you just can't beat. I'm always the one that gets ice cream but this time the husband actually wanted some as well. We both couldn't get over the flavors. The have a nice shaded area behind the stand where you can get out of the heat and enjoy.There is also a nice shop with local artisan crafts which had some pretty nice things. You can also get fresh made doughnuts. Didn't have enough room after the ice cream but that just gives another reason to go back again.”

“I was visiting family in the area and happened to stumble across this bar and I am beyond pleased! My partner and I split the burger and the french onion soup and it was AMAZING! We ate at the bar and our bartender Molly was incredible. Very attentive, friendly, a blast to talk to and made sure all of our needs were met. Overall a great atmosphere, service, staff and food! The service is beyond great, everyone is so nice, welcoming and shares their own recommendations which means you know it's good if a person works there and can still recommend haha. They also have the fastest tap service. Literally you will order a beer and it's like your server does a spin and boom! Beer on your table. In addition to the great service the food is AMAZING. My personal favorite is the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, my husband likes the George Washington. Definitely recommend!”

(Guessing 20-25 minutes; we weren’t in a rush, so I wasn’t tightly tracking.)Food came out perfect. It was warm without being broiling. The steak was medium-well, evenly cooked, and not the least bit dry, to my pleasant surprise. It kicked the keester of anything I ever got at Outback. Beans, rice, and fries all precisely what one would expect in a home-style meal. All of it was exactly right — neither overdone nor underdone. My wife also tried their collard greens, which were also spot-on. Not pictured because they didn’t last long. ? 10/10 for execution.All in with a soda was $23.50 before tip. CASH ONLY (for now?); they weren’t taking cards when we were there. The on-site ATM has a $3 fee. They had a new cash register in a box on the bar, so perhaps this is changing.The proprietor is a nice lady and chatted with us a bit, seated out front on the patio enjoying the weather. The restaurant itself is a small, low-key converted store of a restaurant, with a limited menu of home-style soul food. Nothing more, nothing less. If that sounds good to you, I’d say give it a shot. After this, we intend to go back to try the chicken dinner.And, don’t mind the road work — we had no issues getting there and street parking from the Old Town side of Kent St. They seem to be set up for online ordering as well, presumably for pick-up, but we didn’t try that this time.Parking: Mostly street parking. Watch out for house driveways.Kid-friendliness: There was a family there with four or five kids dominating the bar. The staff was handling them expertly.”

Was warned that the nitro didn't travel well but got a crowler anyway. It was flat by the time I got home but still delicious. No regrets.
