Barbeque Restaurants near Crozet

“DO NOT miss the Smoked Kitchen. During a recent "leaf peeping" drive from Richmond, we visited Crozet in time for lunch. First, the location is easy to find and easy to park. Second, they welcome dogs. (A real plus.) But MOST IMPORTANTLY the the food is top notch and the service can't be beat. The pulled pork is the best we've EVER eaten. (I don't use CAPS very often.) Speaking as Virginia/North Carolina customers, that's quite a statement. It's dry, lean and melt in your mouth. Plenty of sauces to choose from if you wish. Absolutely terrific. We bought A POUND to take home. No kidding. The smoked chicken salad sandwich was excellent. And the beer - well, what a nice addition to a great meal.“

The flavor of the either the smoke and/or rub was different than what I am used to down South, but my wife really liked it. It was something different though and glad we stopped to try it. Check it out!“
