“She is the absolute best. She allowed us to come in and have a wonderful cake tasting for our upcoming wedding. She made everything perfectly, delivered on time and looked amazing. She also made our bridal shower cookies and looked even better than the picture we gave her. I recommend her to anyone and everyone for all of your baking needs!“
“First, let me say that the pastries are excellent and everyone is incredibly friendly. We had both of the mini quiches (loved) and a London fog croissant that looked not great but tasted amazing. We had some sort of free form breakfast strata which was ok. The coffee was awful. I’m not exaggerating. Watery, no flavor, not quite right. We had both a drip coffee and a cortado, and neither resembled anything like they should have. Basically, come here for the pastries and baked goods, skip everything else.“
“This restaurant is fantastic. The food is delicious, perfectly cooked and with unexpectedly fantastic presentation. Much better than I expect from a diner. The staff are helpful and friendly, and seem to enjoy being here. Very clean too. Atmosphere was friendly and neighborly. There are cute little signs here and there that give character without being kitschy. The dessert case looks amazing too, but unfortunately I was too full on my visit to try any of the pastries!“
“I could imagine that there is a better treat than a On the Rise pecan sticky bun, but on a Saturday morning jaunt to the market I would hard pressed to imagine anything better than one of these. Buttery, just sweet enough, and pillowy soft without being cloying or doughy. Well, what are you waiting for?“
“Really loved visiting here. Loved the smells of fresh baked items. Loved our food choices. They were tasty, looked yummy and definitely were. I'm anxious to go back again. Oh and the pastries delicious and displayed in a way that makes you want one or two of each.“
“Why go to Starbucks? This is a great local place for coffee and food. The staff were charming, professional and friendly.The coffees were what we needed and the egg and bacon burrito was exactly right and delicious.We were in a hurry so got our order to go, but reluctantly because the place itself is so welcoming. Next time we’ll take the time to sit by the fire.“
