“I have food allergies, which many people do! one of the things that I am allergic to is cheese. I needed to grab some lunch today on my lunch break. I am trying to eat healthier these days so, I tried to get a salad with no cheese from the Wendy’s on South Boston Road in Danville, VA and I was told... “sorry ma’am, all of our salads are pre-made and you cannot get a salad without cheese.” I guess Wendy’s is not allergy friendly and they have horrible customer service!!!! On the other hand, I went up the road to the Burger King on South Boston Road and went through the drive through and told them about my allergies and asked for a salad without cheese and they made me a fresh made-to-order salad right then and there! :) Good job BK on South Boston Road for your awesome customer service!!! :)))Guess at Burger King you can really have it your own way! :))) � � to the Wendy’s on South Boston Road. “AMAZING LITTLE RESTAURANT WITH WONDERFUL FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, AND NICE ATMOSPHERE!!! This is a FIRST visit to this little hidden gem, but definitely WON'T be our last!!! We're from just over the line in North Carolina, but often shop in Danville and this restaurant is a bit of a drive away from ALL of the major shopping areas in the city, but DEFINITELY worth the drive!! I swear the CRISPY HOMEMADE ONION RINGS alone are worth the drive!!😁They greet you from the time you walk in the door, which is really welcoming! Their food is DELICIOUS and VERY reasonably priced!!😋 It's decorated with various metal license plates and signs!! The food service workers are lined up and working with their own little system which makes their service VERY QUICK from order to serving, which is fascinating to watch! They have a nice VARIETY of food which you can see by the menu in my pictures! They even have soft serve ice cream & homemade milkshakes! “First time going to uncle Al’s and it was phenomenal! My kids and I used to love going to his hot dog stand and they were ecstatic to find out he had his own restaurant! It did not disappoint! The Spider-Man hot dog was superb! The kids finished off with some ice pops and I had the most delicious lemon cake! We will be back soon!“

“The Impossible Whopper is Alpha-Gal safe!!! For me, that is, as each persons Alpha-Gal is unique to them. The Impossible Whopper is so good it will have you questioning if you're eating the real thing! I have eaten it cooked on the grill with no reactions but recently my allergy has gotten worse due to additional tick bites so I ask them to cook it in a hopper or the microwave and no longer order it with cheese. I still get it with mayo with no issues. It's so delicious! Taste & texture is so similar to real beef!“

“I stopped going to Burger King in general because of a really vulgar commercial a couple years back, but we decided to give the restaurant a try. Last time we ate here, the crews seemed very distracted and uncaring. Fast forward a couple years and the atmosphere is very much night and day. The crew was INCREDIBLY friendly. They were all pushing to put out great food. They acted very organized. And the food tasted amazing.“

“We have been twice in the last month to this location. For a long time I avoided IHOP due to long wait times, poor quality food and poor staff attitude. Tinisha is an amazing waitress, shes caring compassionate and her positive attitude reflect in her service and her smile. We came back hoping to receive the same quality food and were not disappointed there either. Everything tasted amazing hot and fresh from the kitchen and orders correct. Good job Danville IHOP on turning this location around. And promote Tinisha, give her a raise, she deserves it. We will be back because of her.“

“We went through the drive thru only waited a few minutes and the lady who took our order was super nice and very thorough. We got to the window the young lady greeted us and smiled and handed us our food. The food was fresh and hot and very delicious and I would definitely return to this location. “I ordered a mcflurry, a pumpkin spice latte and a cheeseburger today. The mcflurries now come in a small, scalloped paper cup that are very flimsy. Not only was it a mess when the unfriendly girl at the window handed it to me, but she was holding it at the bottom which is the only firm location to hold it, so I had to grab it near the top which is such flimsy paper, it squeezes even more icecream out of the scalloped dips. I have no idea why they went to smaller, flimsy, scalloped cups, but it was a terrible idea. The girl at the ordering window, was newer and did her best. She didn't catch my order a couple times because she was dealing with a customer paying at her window, but she did apologize and was friendly, so I didn't mind. She didn't offer me a receipt though, which I would have liked. The pumpkin spice latte I got had no flavoring in it so it was just a hot milk and coffee drink. Very disappointing visit today.“

“I love the food here and the nice customer service. I've previously worked for McDonald's in 2019 and would like to return but to this location as it's closer than the one in Ringgold. I've tried to call and someone answers but the phone hangs up when I say hello. I would really love to work here and be a part of the McDonald's family again if someone will reach out to me!
