New American Restaurants in Danville, VA

“Danville is an interesting place. They have the best Thai food I've had in years and they have this little gem. I went here when they first opened and it was like every other little, trying a little too hard without the special something that made it worth going back. We've all seen the places. They typically have a cook with a lot of tattoos trying to show off drinks they don't know how to prepare and different takes on dishes that just don't quite land. We have all seen these restaurants pop up and typically they go down just as hard.

So... I had a chance to revisit on my last trip and I was... Well... I was blown away. I don't think I could have asked for anything better. I rarely get the drinks in restaurants like this, but the Danville mule was outstanding... The Salmon had with the corn cream sauce was probably the most interesting dish I've had in years. I can't say enough about how nice the server was though I don't remember her name. She misheard a couple of our orders including mine but that was our fault and she was so sweet about fixing it. I truly cannot say enough good things about the entire experience.“
