They have all of these homemade Vietnamese specialties and if you can’t decide, I strongly recommend the scorched-earth approach I used and just get everything you carry out of there.“

“The Bike Lane is a wonderful shop that encourages people to ride their bikes. Everyone from the owners to the mechanics to the sales people and cafe staff are welcoming and encouraging. As a customer with physical limitations, they were patient in connecting me with the right bike. Then, when I hadn’t ridden in a while and didn’t remember how to correctly mount it in its rack, they started from square one, and got me back in the saddle.

Even the shop dog is super cute.

I can’t say enough good things about them, but if you haven’t ridden a bike in a while, and it’s something you’d really like to do - even if you’re not ready to buy - I encourage you to stop by there and see what might be a good fit for you. They’ll let you try bikes and E-bikes and there is no high pressure sales pitch. Also, they are a brewery, and although I’m not a big drinker, I’ve heard good things about their beer. I did like their cold brew coffee a lot. They support other local businesses by hosting food trucks, so rolling out there on a Thursday afternoon and making an evening of it is a good plan.“

“If you are gluten intolerant this may be the beer for you. I have been gluten intolerant for 13 years now. I used to enjoy a beer here and there. Some of the gluten free ones out there are eh, at best. This beer has a full body taste. I did not have any issues drinking it. Now, that being said if you are gluten intolerant you must know yourself really well. It may not be for you, but than again it may. I am just excited that I had no issues and enjoyed a full tasting beer!“

“I stopped by Taste of Istanbul this afternoon for the first time. For the most part it was really good. I ordered a potato pide, 2 doner kebab, mixed meze, and pistachio baklava. Everything was delicious except for the”baklava”, which turned out to be two greasy dough cylinders. No phyllo, no honey, no pistachio filling. I was disappointed that I wasted $7.00 for inedible dough I ended up throwing in the garbage. Get the kebabs, stay away from their version of baklava.“

“OMG! Where do I start...From the unassuming quaint colonial home to the wonderful welcoming of Mona herself. You will fall in love with Mona and this place immediately! We were traveling from out of town to a customer's location near here and were looking for a different dining experience. Boy, Mona did not disappoint! We ordered Baba Ganouj, Beef Shwarma and Lamb with Rice. For dessert we had Rice Pudding and Knafe Bel Jibne. The smoke on the pitas and Baba Ganouj was amazing and I don't like smoke on ANYTHING! I don't care for lamb but tried my business partner's meal and LOVED IT! Mona has definitely won me over hands down! The Shwarma was like nothing I have ever had before. And as a BIG pickle lover, this was a hit! The Rice Pudding was very delicate and a perfect ending to a perfect meal. We ordered the Knafe Bel Jibne as we were very curious. It is a warm sweet treat with a very slight hint of savory which comes from the pistachios - YUM! Mona cooks everything herself to order with LOVE! This is such an AMAZING AND UNIQUE dining experience and hidden GEM! This place is a MUST! When you go there, tell Mona that Kat and Rob sent you!“

“Interestingly, the best part of Ono is the sister businesses co-located with them, a BBQ place. Most of the Ono beers were OK but low on characer (we tasted all of the non-IPA beers). The best, which was, in fact, quite good, was Hellyes Helles. Ono brewing runs on a pretty cool self-service system. You, or your party, depending on how you want to pay, are given a card. You present the card to a reader at each tap and pour as much as you like. The volume of each pour is tracked and charged when you check out. Taster, as well as larger glasses, are available. I'd go back, but I might just stick to the Hellyes, unless I wanted some more coconut porter, which was my second favorite.“

“Nick's Taverna is hands down one of my favorite spots in Ashburn! I popped in for dinner the other night and was seriously impressed with everything we tried. It has a laid-back vibe, perfect for a casual night out with friends or family, and the food is top-notch. If you're into Mediterranean flavors, this place is a must-visit.

We started with the Greek Salad, and it was super fresh and flavorful. The mix of crunchy romaine, juicy tomatoes, and kalamata olives was on point, but the feta cheese totally stole the show. Plus, the Greek dressing tied it all together perfectly. It was the kind of salad where every bite has something tasty going on. Definitely not your boring side salad.

Then came the falafel, and wow. These chickpea fritters were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—just the way falafel should be! The combo of the falafel with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and that tangy tahini sauce was so satisfying. It was light but still packed with flavor, and the torshi (pickled veggies) added a nice punch.

For the main course, I went with the Beef Shawarma, and it was just fantastic. The beef was super tender and char-grilled to perfection. With all the fresh veggies and that creamy tahini sauce, it hit all the right notes. I could seriously eat this every week. If you’re craving delicious Mediterranean food in a chill atmosphere, Nick’s Taverna is where it’s at!“

“A brewery with some good food! A friend recommended this place for its Taiwanese street food, so I decided to give it a try. I sampled as much as I could, and while some dishes stood out, others didn’t quite meet my taste—just my personal opinion. The Dan Dan noodle sauce and beef pancake were excellent, with spices that were spot on. However, the beef noodle soup felt like it might have come from a central kitchen package. The pork bao was great, with a good size, but the pork belly had too much fat for my liking. The Three-Cup Fried Tofu had a sauce that was overly sweet, and the tofu cubes could have been larger to achieve that crispy skin with a soft texture inside. The lemongrass chicken had good flavor but was unfortunately a bit dry. Overall, we enjoyed the experience—it was a mix of hits and misses. The service and atmosphere were friendly and cozy. Give it a try if you haven’t yet!“
