“Good wines at great prices! Especially loved the bourbon barrel blend. Their deep dish pizza is also tasty and, since it wasn't busy, was able to order in the wine tasting room and they brought it to us. Staff is super friendly as well. Will be back.“
“Been coming here since 2012. Twelve years later, it just keeps getting better. Over the last twelve years they have more wine varieties, added more delicious food, and added a brewery. The food, wine and beer get an A plus. The staff is polite and very friendly. I only hane two complaints. I wish they had longer evening hours, and the entrance to the parking lot should be wider and paved.“
“This is such a sweet place with people who clearly love to cook and be adventurous with their menu. I had the chicken salad tacos and I loved the watermelon radishes instead of a taco shell. The flavors were outstanding and the outdoor seating was beautiful. The prices are reasonable and the options are plenty! I fed myself and my kids and got drinks plus a tip for $60. There isn't a road sign on Main Street that I saw, but the GPS gets you there easily. Definitely check it out! We'll be coming back ☺️☺️“
“I came in on a weekday to meet up with Foodie friends…. This is a quaint, old rowhouse type joint with friend staff and eclectic, random features… such as tables and chairs, but the coffee situation is very interesting – You grab a random, unique cup from the wall and fill it with coffee from the urns that they keep filled with fresh coffee. The menu is fun, interesting, and unique and is loaded with some really appetizing items. To keep it simple, I went with their Nashville biscuit (as you can imagine, it’s a hot chicken style biscuit). When it came out, I was amazed at how big it was, with two chicken thighs on it and huge cathead biscuits. The flavor of the chicken was excellent with a nice spice and perfect batter/fry to it! I honestly didn’t think I’d eat much of the biscuit as many times even when biscuits are good, they’re dry and after eating half, I’m done, but not this time… I ate the ENTIRE THING!!! The biscuit was extremely tasty and moist!!! Perfect biscuit, in fact!!!Overall, I absolutely enjoyed the food and the service was friendly… Highly recommend stopping in!!“
“The coffee at this place is crazy exquisite. I had a cappuccino and it was sensational. Real coffee. The other people who were with me agreed with the deliciousness of their coffee. The place is very cozy and pleasant. I won't say anything about the bakery items because I haven't tried them. What I do know is that when I return to Leesburg I will return to this shop coffee.“
“If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy company, food and fantastic drinks at an affordable price this is the spot! Paul and his staff have one thing on their minds. Making sure everyone that comes in feels attended to and comfortable so you keep coming back. The lamb chops and pork belly tacos were awesome and the skill of those behind the bar are top notch! Cant say enough about this place! Go enjoy.“
“I when here with my brother this morning for the first time. We got two drinks. Mine was the English fog which was good. The chocolate and orange scone(you don’t taste much orange but I was fine with that) was very good texture and taste and good size. The French toast with cinnamon apples was very good but a small portion for the price so I probably wouldn’t order again for that reason. Pastry’s were the best part. There was lots of seating rooms. All quiet and nice to sit and read or chat in.“
“We hosted a small “wedding debrief” with close family and friends at Three Creeks the Sunday of our wedding weekend. They have a gathering room below the tasting room that was perfect for our group of 30. P-J is incredibly accommodating and their wine, of course, is delicious! We loved getting to incorporate one of our favorite wineries near Leesburg into the weekend.“
“This place .. WOW. Legit the best chilaquiles I've had since Mexico City. Birria was fantastic. The salsas were fresh and flavorful. I am so full and happy I had to walk a few blocks!!! Service was awesome. A great little place to start our adult night ... this place is truly a hidden gem!!!“
“A relaxing location close enough for a short trip, but still has views of the rolling hills of Virginia. The owners, staff, and winemaker are informative and if you stop in around the right time, you may get an invite to help pick grapes or bottle wine enabling you to learn more about the process. This was one of the few wineries we've ever visited that both me and my wife enjoyed all of the wines. Children and dogs are allowed, though with some limits (dogs can't come inside due to new Virginia regulations and children are asked to stay on the ground floor). All in all, Cana Vineyards and Winery is a great place to get relax for a few hours when you get a chance, and then head down to Middleburg for dinner and shopping!“
“I've been back a few times to make sure the first experience wasn't a fluke, and I can say this place has awesome sandwiches. The inside is well kept and everyone has been polite. Highly recommend the Deniro. Definitely going back!“
“This was a small little house downtown. Not too big inside maybe 3-4 tables in front room with an outdoor seating area and another small adjacent room. Bartender was super informative and helped guide us through the selections. Several nice IPA's but One IPA was really good. Mosaic Vision, excellent! My favorite stop so far.“
“Man this place has made huuuuuuuge leaps from when it opened. Just stopped by for the first time in years and I'm disappointed I didn't come by sooner.Everything I had was so good, like across the board the quality and clarity was there. The dark Czech and Dark English Mild were both so good (just wish the English bitter had still been available). The staff, especially Brandon, was super friendly.Glad to see this brewery make a name for itself in the local scene and it was cool to see how many collabs they had available too, great sign that a brewery is doing well for itself. Definitely one of the best options in NoVa.“
“Visited on a Sunday at lunchtime and fortunately they were able to seat us with no wait (total luck). Very quick and efficient service. We went with a couple of bottles of a Virginia microbrew and a 14" Sweet Heat. Very worth it (as hopefully the pictures convey). Parking can be a challenge in that part of town, but again, it's worth it.“
“Stopped in for breakfast and caffeine one morning at Trinity House Cafe & Market. Parking can be a bit of a challenge here. There is no parking in front of the business. There is parking around back and down the hill in a public lot - which requires a short walk back up the hill. Trinity House Cafe is located in what looks like it used to be a residence. I ordered their version of Lox & Bagel and a small cold brew - with a splash of Half 'n Half. I sat in the front room to eat my Lox & Bagel. There are 6-7 small tables in this room. The Lox & Bagel was tasty - I wished they added more capers and fresh dill. The cold brew was excellent. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. #TrinityHouseCafeAndMarket“
“I don't usually review wineries but had such a great experience, I felt compelled to share. Everything was wonderful from stat to finish. We came to La Grange on a cold January day for a friend group outing. My husband and I along with another friend couple arrived ahead of our other friends. We decided on trying the buy 1 get one free wine tasting and went with the reds. I had mentioned to my husband walking in that I never remember wines when visiting wineries. We both agreed after this wine tasting, this would not be the case. All of the wines were amazing! And unique. It was hard to pick a favorite among them.We had the pleasure of working with Chris, who seamlessly bounced between our friend group arriving at different times, seeking different wine style tastings. He was friendly, patient (our group may have broken a glass upon jubilant hellos), and knowledgeable. Being int he Bull Run area, it was fun to learn about the history of the building and wines Just be careful with Chris - he's a great salesman! He easily sold one of our friends on a membership - although the memberships do seem like a great value. I can't recall the exact specifics so don't want to speak on it, but if you are even slightly interested in a winery membership, I'd recommend asking about this one.We spent most of our time in the basement which is a cozy space, decorated with lights and that could accommodate our group as well as others. It was also helpful that they allow outside food, since we could pair what we wanted with the bottles of wine being consumed.Great time, great people, great experience. I'd love to come back in warmer weather to see the ground. Highly recommend!“
“I loved this place! Very warm and inviting rustic setting. I don't care for ciders usually, I'm a beer drinker but I really enjoyed a couple of these. The Jalapiña was amazing, jalapeño and pineapple, yum. The food was delicious. Shrimp, pretzels and pizza is what we ordered. And the service was terrific. She was mindful of the temperature as well as the music level for the amount of people present. I appreciate all of these things. I'll definitely be going back with more friends.“
“A group of friends and I reserved the Loft space at Lost Barrel for an event and had an absolutely great time. The food was fantastic, the drinks were great, the servers were all super nice and attentive and the grounds of the property and a delight to walk around and hang out in. Definitely recommend and will be back.“
“We recently hosted our wedding welcome party at Black Walnut Brewery, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, Black Walnut met and exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The atmosphere at Black Walnut Brewery was exactly what we were looking for—inviting, festive, and perfectly suited for our 50-person welcome party. Despite the chilly weather, the thoughtful inclusion of heaters ensured that our guests were comfortable both indoors and outdoors. The venue's proximity to parking and our rehearsal dinner venue made it incredibly convenient for our guests, especially those traveling from Dulles or DC.The inclusion of signs added a personal touch, making it easy for everyone to navigate the space. The restrooms were well-maintained, and the overall setup contributed to the welcoming atmosphere. While there were some good food options, it was the drinks that truly stole the show. Black Walnut Brewery offers more than just beer, and the selection of drinks was exceptional. The bartenders demonstrated efficiency and skill, ensuring that our guests had a great time enjoying the various beverage options.Communication with the Black Walnut team was also great. Easy via email, from the initial planning stages to the day of the event, the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive to our needs and the needs of our guests. Unlike other venues, we were pleasantly surprised that we weren't charged for the space. This gesture allowed us to focus on creating a welcoming environment and ensured that our guests could fully partake in the fantastic drinks Black Walnut has to offer. Our wedding welcome party at Black Walnut Brewery was a truly memorable experience, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. We wholeheartedly recommend Black Walnut Brewery to anyone seeking a welcoming, accommodating, and downright fun venue for their special events. Thank you, Black Walnut, for contributing to the success of our welcome party!“
“Been to Gruto's twice, both times I have order the coffee ice cream and it's delicious. The only down side of this place is so small you can't take your kids and sit with them . not sure if they have outdoor seating in the back (maybe).“
“The team at Fields of Athenry Farm Shop & Side Saddle Bistro is among the kindest and most helpful. On multiple occasions, whether I've placed a holiday order online, or simply walked into the shop, they've gone out of their way to assist me in selecting the perfect item for my menu, providing excellent product quality, and the most hospitable service. Visiting the shop is like being welcomed into their personal dining room. I work locally at BCT, and can say, whenever I have a chance to walk into town, this is one of my favorite places to visit, and a great option for a quick lunch too! They have been a wonderful catering partner for our office as well.“
“Nice place among all the big box stores In a strip mall area. Lots of things to choose from. Went with the crispy cauliflower bites and poached pear salad. Both delicious! My companions split the short rib grilled cheese, and Cesar salad topped with steak and fries! What?!?!? All reports also delicious. Our server was very attentive and offered to split our bill 3 ways without asking.“
“Went on a Saturday night with the family. It was extremely loud. The guacamole was excellent. The queso was not too good. I got my wife a large margarita it was $32 mostly ice. The size was not that large for $32. I would give it another shot during the week. $110 for 3 peopleParking: Parking directly in front was full but there's other parking.Kid-friendliness: As long as they're behaved.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spot and double doors.“
“Our experience as first timers at The Wine Kitchen was phenomenal! Kayla did a great job suggesting wine selections and items off the menu, and was an awesome server! If you visit, you will have to consider trying the meat and cheese board and cacio e pepe pasta – both were absolutely delicious. We will DEFINITELY be back! :)“
“My wife and I had dinner here a few weeks ago. The food was so very good, the staff were friendly and very attentive, and the restaurant was cozy. We'll make a special trip just to go back and enjoy this place. A must to try out if you haven't already and enjoy Greek/Mediterranean food.“
“As new members we plan on coming to 50 West more often. So far their wines are fantastic! Gunner helped sign us up. He and the rest of the sommeliers are an absolute pleasure to chat with. Their renovated barn exudes class, complimented by gorgeous bathrooms & breathtaking patio views of the mountains. I look forward to becoming fast regulars with my wife. Happy new year!“
“Stopped by after dinner for some ice cream. It wasn't too busy, the service was quick and friendly. Ordered a single scoop of the peanut butter chocolate buckeye and it was pretty good! Didn't care for the hard Carmel swirls but it was thick and creamy. Good portion size. Plenty of outdoor seating and well lit.“
“The beach is a nice get-away. It definitely has a tropical vibe, which is really fun. It is kid friendly, and lots of children enjoy playing in the sand. Good bands providing music gave a laid-back, relaxed vibe. Go up to the bar and order drinks and food. Grab a number and try to find a spot to sit. It was crowded when we got there, but we were able to snag a table pretty quickly. The kitchen got backed up, and we waited an hour for our food. However, the people watching, drinks, and band made the longer wait ok. Once the food came out was ok, I thought the atmosphere was what really had it going on. The pretzel that was larger than my head was warm, soft, and delicious. The steak tacos lacked some flavor. The hamburger was huge and wasn't bad, but could have used a bit more salt to bring out the flavor. This is a mixed review, but we are definitely willing to go back.“
“What an amazing spot this was. Food was delicious. I had the general tso and it was out of this world good. All dishes were completely eaten with no leftovers. Service was perfect. Owners are amazing people. Made us feel like family as soon as we walked in..one of the top spots in VA. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!“
“South Street Under catered my party a couple weeks ago and everything was fantastic! I especially like their pinwheel wraps and mini sandwiches. The cake was a particularly huge hit with my guests. Delivery was on time (a few minutes early). Looking forward to ordering from them for future events!“
“The physical space is fantastic. It’s a high bay and really friendly people. But when I asked about their beans for the pour over, they had no idea what I was talking about. I was interested if they’re single origin or not. It’s a great coffee shop, but I wouldn’t go here for high end pourover“
“First time visiting yesterday and everything was amazing. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Kevin did our guided bar tasting. He was very knowledgeable and we had a great time talking with him. The food was also very good, lots of different options. Signed up for the signature club at the end of our visit!“
“Shoe's Cup and Cork is a cozy gem nestled in the heart of Leesburg, where coffee culture meets culinary creativity. From their artisanal brews to their delectable brunch offerings, it's the perfect spot to kick back, relax, and savor the flavors of a locally loved establishment.“
“The interior has a very unique design, with market-like stalls displaying various products around the walls which are painted like the sky. The short rib sliders were pretty good, and the boursin cheese that came with it was an excellent pairing. I wasn’t as much a fan of the potato salad though. The potatoes felt undercooked, and the whole mix was a bit plain.“
“I'm consistently happy with the food and service here. Occasionally the bar is closed due to special events at the resort so it's worth calling ahead. 4 stars instead of 5 due to our lunch bill exceeding $500 for 4 adults and 3 kids the last time we were there.“
“Love Solace. Best brewery around. They've made it and I am happy for them. Any company where the beer is sold as a staple in the grocery stores or in other restaurants, you know it is good. Solace has done that. For the brewery itself, it is awesome. Lots of good beer, good place to go. Pretty big place, can bring you dog with no problem. Usually they have a good truck, so you can get a bite if you want.“
“The food was fresh and delicious. Had the papaya salad, miso soup, and two specialty rolls. The MGM was excellent. Chesapeake Bay was also very good - lovely to have real crab vs imitation. It was a nice day, so we sat outside on the patio. It is on a parallel street to the main street, so it doesn't get people wandering by - it's definitely a destination spot. We were impressed by the selections - wish we could have tried more dishes!“
“My husband and I moved here from Alabama in 2019 and since then we have failed at finding good BBQ. Something that really reminded us of home in the South where you can find good BBQ almost anywhere. Until today, when we finally got around to trying Hammerdown after passing it several times and saying, "We should try there."What an absolute hidden gem! Hands down the BEST smoked meat we've had since leaving the south. I didn't get any pictures because after we took that first bite it was game on! Needless to say this will be the only BBQ place that we support. Absolutely delicious, well seasoned, and moist meats! Even our 7 year old son devoured his pulled pork sandwich.I'm only taking off a star as I felt the sides were a little lackluster being the collards were bland and the Mac n cheese wasn't great. The green beans were good and the baked beans. We tried the smoked sausage, brisket and pulled pork for the meats. Can't wait to try the rest that they offer!“
