“I don't usually review wineries but had such a great experience, I felt compelled to share. Everything was wonderful from stat to finish. We came to La Grange on a cold January day for a friend group outing. My husband and I along with another friend couple arrived ahead of our other friends. We decided on trying the buy 1 get one free wine tasting and went with the reds. I had mentioned to my husband walking in that I never remember wines when visiting wineries. We both agreed after this wine tasting, this would not be the case. All of the wines were amazing! And unique. It was hard to pick a favorite among them.We had the pleasure of working with Chris, who seamlessly bounced between our friend group arriving at different times, seeking different wine style tastings. He was friendly, patient (our group may have broken a glass upon jubilant hellos), and knowledgeable. Being int he Bull Run area, it was fun to learn about the history of the building and wines Just be careful with Chris - he's a great salesman! He easily sold one of our friends on a membership - although the memberships do seem like a great value. I can't recall the exact specifics so don't want to speak on it, but if you are even slightly interested in a winery membership, I'd recommend asking about this one.We spent most of our time in the basement which is a cozy space, decorated with lights and that could accommodate our group as well as others. It was also helpful that they allow outside food, since we could pair what we wanted with the bottles of wine being consumed.Great time, great people, great experience. I'd love to come back in warmer weather to see the ground. Highly recommend!“
“We've been a number of times to the Manassas location, and a few times the past couple years to this Haymarket location, and have never been disappointed here. Tonight lived up again to our consistent satisfaction with Zandra's and are so glad this location is open! We had tried another local spot tonight but left because the wait was 1.5 hrs for a burger at a food truck.... remembered Zandra's, came over and despite it being busy as well, were seated and served quickly and efficiently. And the food and drinks were perfect, ample, well timed in delivery from apps and drinks, to entrees, to desserts. Our server was friendly and attentive. The mood was upbeat, and we couldn't help but notice how in sync the wait staff and bartenders were with one another and all looked like they were having a great time. You can watch 2 games and another show on one of 3 TV running or listen to the good playlist. Definitely recommend with a group of friends or just a date night. Good family spot too. And there's outdoor seating perfect as the weather warms. We'll definitely return.“

They had a large selection of adult beverages and offered pub style food like flat breads, chicken wings, and nachos. “Il Faro is a very good restaurant. I love the Chicken Marsala here. Extremely tasty. A different spin on it as they don't use spaghetti as the pasta. The chef uses penne pasta and it absorbs the flavors of the sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and the organic chicken well. The chicken is extremely tender and the chef consistently delivers this dish in the three times we have been here since they took over after Mama Mias closed. I also want to note they do the appetizers well. We enjoy the mozzarella sticks and the meatballs. You can tell the mozzarella is fresh since it doesn't have that frozen taste and the sauce to dip in is very tasteful. As for the meatballs, they are beef based but the chef adds a great flavor of the tomato sauce and mozzarella and they add delightful bread to soak up the remaining sauce and cheese after you enjoy the meatballs. The pizza is a thin crust cooked toward the under side so no browning on the cheese. It is a NY pizza in the finest of traditions. You will enjoy it. Service is top notch. I mean 100%. We go in and we are 100% satisfied with the service. Waitress is efficient, smart and completely interested in making sure you have a great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“This is such a sweet place with people who clearly love to cook and be adventurous with their menu. I had the chicken salad tacos and I loved the watermelon radishes instead of a taco shell. The flavors were outstanding and the outdoor seating was beautiful. The prices are reasonable and the options are plenty! I fed myself and my kids and got drinks plus a tip for $60. There isn't a road sign on Main Street that I saw, but the GPS gets you there easily. Definitely check it out! We'll be coming back ☺️☺️“

“My husband and I moved here from Alabama in 2019 and since then we have failed at finding good BBQ. Something that really reminded us of home in the South where you can find good BBQ almost anywhere. Until today, when we finally got around to trying Hammerdown after passing it several times and saying, "We should try there."What an absolute hidden gem! Hands down the BEST smoked meat we've had since leaving the south. I didn't get any pictures because after we took that first bite it was game on! Needless to say this will be the only BBQ place that we support. Absolutely delicious, well seasoned, and moist meats! Even our 7 year old son devoured his pulled pork sandwich.I'm only taking off a star as I felt the sides were a little lackluster being the collards were bland and the Mac n cheese wasn't great. My husband had the beef tibs, an Ethiopian dish that was delicious. I had the flank steak. It was perfectly cooked to my liking with creamy mashed potatoes and a Gorgonzola sauce. Our wine, Silk and Spice was delicious. We tried and lived the sambusas- had a little spice but not too much. We’re taking the lemon dessert home for later. We can’t wait to go back. “Fantastic winery in Northern VA. While they don't grow grapes on-site, sources from various prominent regions, their wines are great quality and accommodations are fantastic. “Visited this past weekend for the first time and had an amazing time! We were nearby in the area at a winery when my friend mentioned this spot.When arriving around 6:30 PM it was bustling with live music. We were able to find a few chairs up front in front of the stage and eventually found enough chairs for our entire group. We had some beers, frozen drinks, and tried their seltzers. The frozen drink (margarita) was my favorite and the staff at the Ice Bar let me sample another one (killing me softly) before I ordered. The "killing me softly" was good but a little too sweet for me. I did try their signature drink, the Roxstar, but this was too sweet as well. The seltzers were pretty good as well and only $5 a can. They also had an ample amount of self-serve water stations to keep hydrated. The band we saw was great and kept the crowd entertained all night! People were dancing, singing a long, and overall just enjoying themselves. I liked that the music was a variety of music starting with some 80s and going to today's music. For food, we tried the La Gringa food truck and the avocado egg rolls were killer. They tasting just like cheesecake factory's. We also got chicken tenders and the chicken tasted so fresh. Definitely recommend. At the end of the night we stopped at the 2nd stop bus and got coffee and ice cream. Parking was easy and there were a lot of bathrooms but the one inside 2 silos did have a line at most times as there are only 2 stalls. We tried to go in between music sets to make it a little better. Overall, looking forward to my next visit here to try more of the food and enjoy with family!“
“Love Solace. Best brewery around. They've made it and I am happy for them. Any company where the beer is sold as a staple in the grocery stores or in other restaurants, you know it is good. Solace has done that. For the brewery itself, it is awesome. Lots of good beer, good place to go. Pretty big place, can bring you dog with no problem. Usually they have a good truck, so you can get a bite if you want.“

I would have liked to try more, and the beer tenders offered samples, but I couldn't get a flight because it would have been too time consuming for the tenders. “Small shop specializing in Vietnamese, Korean and Filipino desserts, but that wasn't why I was there. They do a pretty decent, inexpensive bahn mi. The bread didn't have a crispy crust, it was a bit less spicy than the bahn mi I get at Eden Plaza, but it was very tasty and is a lot closer to home.There were also many Vietnamese rolls and such packaged in meal size. I was happy to see nem chua, which was delicious.There is one table.I will be going back many times for bahn mi, nem and to try the meals.“

(strawberries and blueberries) great job with the nuts... also amazing steak and egg sandwich!!! The cilantro jalapeño aoli is bomb af, and you get it on a CROISSANT...
