“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“Hands down the best soft serve ever tried. They make me hate Mc Donald’s icecream cone or any other ice cream place. Better than DQ. I have tried limited items here but everything I did try are very good. My fav is green apple soft serve on a cone. It’s my bf and I go to date spot. Love it.“

“If you are gluten intolerant this may be the beer for you. I have been gluten intolerant for 13 years now. I used to enjoy a beer here and there. Some of the gluten free ones out there are eh, at best. This beer has a full body taste. I did not have any issues drinking it. Now, that being said if you are gluten intolerant you must know yourself really well. It may not be for you, but than again it may. I am just excited that I had no issues and enjoyed a full tasting beer!“

“I am disappointed to find out that it seems that Farm Brew Live is phasing out Country Music Acts. I think it is important that we keep a variety some of these Country Music artists are absolutely amazing. To name a few Melissa Quinn Fox, Sela Campbell, and many more. I think eliminating does not do this venue justice. Plenty room for all Music. I love variety. please reconsider.“

“Best birria tacos ever! Make sure you get the sides, rice, beans, esquiotes (elotes in a bowl). It was so good we got food to go to eat tomorrow. We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. Additional bonus, the staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, hospitable and the food came out quickly.“

“The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. “I had been seeing honeygrow everywhere and never really knew what it was, so yesterday, Saturday, I finally had the chance to stop in, and I’m so glad I did. Everything looked so fresh. The restaurant was clean, the kitchen and cooking area were immaculate, and even the beverage bar was spotless. The whole place felt pristine at this location. The employees were nice, and the customer service was very satisfactory. I ordered the kale chicken Caesar and added bacon. I also had them heat up the chicken and bacon. My plan was to take it home, but it looked so good that I opened the container in the car just to have a taste, and it never made it home. It was absolutely delicious. The Caesar dressing, the chicken, and everything together was just amazing.
Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back. 10/10 I highly recommend.“

“Epic Market Cafe & Grill is exactly the kind of spot you didn’t know you needed. It’s a cozy little nook with a genuinely friendly atmosphere — the kind of place that feels like a getaway even when you’re just grabbing lunch or getting some work done. “Not sure how to graciously ask this question, but I am usually taken back when I see foodies without prices on their menu. It makes me think those preparing the menu may be arrogant to believe that price means nothing to patrons. Price matters. Are foods and drinks priced too high to be transparent? Are all patrons so well off that price to them really does not matter? I will sometimes pass over a place if they hide their prices, just because there are so many others that do not hide them. The atmosphere just by itself deserves a reluctant visit.“

“This is such a great Mexican restaurant in South Riding and also family owned. The prices are great and portions large. Salsa is amazing! That is one thing that keeps me coming back. The only thing I’d work on is better crafted margaritas. They have the frozen in the machine that are OK.“

The dishes were slightly on the bland side and it was a little annoying that we had to keep asking for more chili oil. It should just be on the table for us to scoop out! But I think they’re trying to be a little more modern so I get it. The place is nice and clean! I over ate so it was a successful dim sum brunch!“

“What a cool place. Nice venue to hang out to have a few cocktails, host a small to medium size event, do a tour, or just learn about making spirits. Veteran owned. I was there for a tasting event, tried two kinds of gin, not really my thing, a rye, and a bourbon. The bourbon is special to honor all Service Members in our nations history who served in war and peace, Pax et Bellum.“

“We LOVE Ono. We met Scott and Cindy before they officially opened 9 years ago and they gave us a tour of the brewery. We’ve been to their anniversary luaus and celebrations, spent weekends and holiday eves there, and it’s one of our favorite places to visit on a random weeknight when we don’t feel like cooking dinner at home. Some of our friends had a “traveling growler” that we would fill and drop off for each other with Ono’s beers. The beers are always delicious and the atmosphere is a bit of vacation in the middle of northern VA. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area!“

“Ordered a flat white, breakfast burrito, and chocolate croissant. Everything was delicious! I was very impressed. This was probably the first flat white I've enjoyed in years. Breakfast burrito was well-balanced and filling but not heavy. Chocolate croissant was chocolate-y lol. Service was friendly. Cafe itself wasn't cozy or anything but had multiple seating options and could certainly be a place to hang out or do some work.

Only gripe was the price. Maybe it's just the reality of dining out these days but I found this place quite pricey for a cafe.“

“I’ve been here a couple of times and I definitely recommend this place to anyone craving Korean ramen with lots of toppings. You pay around $8.50 for unlimited toppings which is a great deal. We also got a blue lemonade and peach green tea, they were so refreshing!

Everything is self-serve here and the staff will instruct you on how to cook your ramen and what to add to your bowl. There are also instructions on how to cook your ramen which is really easy to follow.“

“I usually go to the lorton Location , But I stopped in this morning because I had a small gathering in the area. The doughnuts are fine, but they're definitely not as friendly in this location next week I'll make the 30 min detour to lorton!“

“As we're lucky to have so many authentic and diverse restaurants in Northern Virginia, we decided to give Chef Tan a try.

I'd say it's a solid choice if you're nearby or looking for authentic Chinese food in Vienna. While it's not the best Chinese food I've ever had, every dish we ordered was good and the overall meal was enjoyable.

That said, with so many great Chinese restaurants closer to where I live, I probably wouldn't drive all the way to Vienna to have Chef Tan unless I happened to be in the area and is craving Chinese food.“

“After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“

“Food was exceptional. Service was great. But not disclosing a mandatory 20% gratuity charge will be added to the check is misleading. I just happened to catch it when I went to sign after it was already paid. My husband and I were so pleased with the food and service that we had already planned to tip 20%... Instead it felt like robbery. Not a very honest way to do business so I went from planning my next return to now second guessing if I'll come back. Still, the food was excellent. Just wish there was some transparency and integrity.“

A little rough on service start we had to listen to waitress vent about how she has to serve Alo e and the guy who was to show up to help won:t be in until 5pm. Also referencing that don't ask her questions that are obvious in the menu. Later she turned super nice. A must try if you are in the area. The food is fresh and delicious“
