“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“We had the best tour and tasting yesterday with Dana. Incredibly knowledgeable, great history, great wines, excellent example of VA agrotourism. Budget 1 hr 45 min for the experience. I will be taking visiting friends here for this tour!“

“If you are gluten intolerant this may be the beer for you. I have been gluten intolerant for 13 years now. I used to enjoy a beer here and there. Some of the gluten free ones out there are eh, at best. This beer has a full body taste. I did not have any issues drinking it. Now, that being said if you are gluten intolerant you must know yourself really well. It may not be for you, but than again it may. I am just excited that I had no issues and enjoyed a full tasting beer!“

“I am disappointed to find out that it seems that Farm Brew Live is phasing out Country Music Acts. I think it is important that we keep a variety some of these Country Music artists are absolutely amazing. To name a few Melissa Quinn Fox, Sela Campbell, and many more. I think eliminating does not do this venue justice. Plenty room for all Music. I love variety. please reconsider.“

We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. Additional bonus, the staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, hospitable and the food came out quickly.“

“Not sure how to graciously ask this question, but I am usually taken back when I see foodies without prices on their menu. It makes me think those preparing the menu may be arrogant to believe that price means nothing to patrons. Price matters. Are foods and drinks priced too high to be transparent? Are all patrons so well off that price to them really does not matter? I will sometimes pass over a place if they hide their prices, just because there are so many others that do not hide them. The atmosphere just by itself deserves a reluctant visit.“

“The place is soooo cute with all the panda decorations. The food is good and made fresh, but I was disappointed by having my dumplings served on a paper plate, and my cucumber salad in a plastic container. Dumplings felt a little heavy for my preference. The person working here was very nice and helpful.

I feel like they are missing out a huge opportunity with their food presentation to make it a full panda experience. I liked it and would probably come here if I lived nearby, but wouldn’t go out of my way to come here to eat.

“I really like the Chicken platter with white and Blazin sauce. Portion size is pretty big and always stuffed afterwards. I started replacing the fries on the plate with more salad instead as it’s refreshing.

Seating can be lacking as there’s only 5 tables and bar stools.“

“The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. “I have to say that this is my absolute favorite Tropical Smoothie locations out of all the ones I have been to!! The staff is extremely friendly! Leticia always has a smile on her face, Rosa is always so welcoming, and Mayerlis is so kind! They make you feel so welcomed and sincerely appreciate and value every customer that walks into their store! The food is great and the cleanliness is also very good!“

“Honeygrow was bright, inviting, and a great first experience. Beverly was super helpful and friendly, even though they were closing in 15 minutes. I tried the chicken shawarma and garlic butter chicken — the shawarma wasn’t really spicy to me, more of a sour/pickled flavor, but the garlic butter chicken was delicious. I also liked the digital menu with pictures and that they offer samples. I’ll definitely be back to try the banana pudding.“

“Hey, I don’t usually eat fried chicken whatsoever, but when I entered Dave’s Hot Chicken in Fairfax VA, I was immediately greeted by a young little middle eastern boy who I believe was named Ikram. I was really having a bad day, so this energy really made me excited to be there and eat. Ordering with the little gigglemug boy Ikram really made me a happy cabbage. It was just the pang-wangle I need to brighten my day. I ordered a number 3 with medium spice, and might I tell you it was delightful, dare I say near perfection. This is all thanks to my little kadoova Ikram, he really did it special, even going out of his way to advertise me a special drink called a flash in fruit punch slushy. For this hot day, it really hit the spot. This experience at Dave’s was just a 10/10. The food and service was just amazing. Ikram was simply the bee’s knees, the cherry on top for this experience.to have such another amazing experience at a take out restaurant, it would compare to herding cats! “This was my second trip here and both times I had an excellent experience! They were rather busy today, but the service was spot on! Our food came out quickly and it was delicious! I had the spicy pork belly ramen, it was absolutely amazing. The husband had the bulgogi rice bowl and loved it. The presentation is absolutely gorgeous! The place was packed, but the service was still quick and everyone was so pleasant, I'm definitely going back.“

“We stumbled upon Chef Tan by complete chance and it has quickly become a family favorite. The food is absolutely amazing, but what really sets them apart is the service. The lady who takes our orders is incredibly kind and welcoming. I love her.

Most importantly, they are so accommodating with their flavor, they always adjust the spice levels for my husband and kids who prefer milder dishes. It’s rare to find an authentic spot that is this flexible, clean and family friendly“

“Came for dessert after dinner at the plaza next door, and we got the Red Bean Bingsoo. Love that they use shaved milk, and not shaved ice 🥹 it is on the pricier end for the amount of bingsoo you get (the V-shaped bowl is slightly deceptive), but every bite was worth it.

Saw that there was a self-serve ramen bar, so I’d definitely come back here with friends next time!“

“A very unique microbrewery. You swipe your card & are given a RFID card. You then walk to 14 taps avaliable and place your RFID card into a slot above the tap. It recognizes your name and then you pour your beer. You pay by the ounce. They have 4 oz & 16 oz glasses available and glass rinsers avaliable for you. There is a BBQ food shop in the same building for food.“

“After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“

“I ordered for pickup so I was only able to experience in atmosphere for a short period. The dan dan noodles is one of the best that I have had in the US. The only other one that I had that was better was when I lived in China. I wish they had a location back in Boston.

“I had a great experience at Nalak Thai. The food was so delicious, and the portion sizes were really good as well. I also ordered the Ube Thai tea, and it was amazing. Not only did it taste great, but it was also presented so cutely. I loved the heart-shaped straws and the little teddy bear on the drink. It made the whole experience feel extra special and adorable.

The service was excellent too. The servers were very attentive, and the food came out quickly. Overall, everything about the experience was wonderful. I would definitely come back again and would highly recommend Nalak Thai to my friends and family.“

“This place is incredible. I am not aware of any other luosifen noodle house in the area. If you, like me, are a newcomer to this style of noodle soup, you are going to be extremely impressed. The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Sichuan menu is one of the best in the area, second only to Mama Chang's and Hong Kong Palace. This place is pretty new and trying to get its feet underneath it.
