“The Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Lorton offers such a wonderful and positive experience. The staff, especially Evelyn, Tesla, and Sheila are friendly and efficient. They all put forth “ over the top effort” to make your food exactly the way you like it. I love the way they make my Mocha Madness. It is so creamy, flavorful and thick. When I go away for a few weeks, I immediately make my way back to this TSC the day after I get back. I so enjoy purchasing the freshly made Chicken Thai Salad. I can’t say enough good things about the staff, their efficiency, friendliness and knowledge. The cafe is kept clean. I have watched them keep the entire area clean where they are preparing our food, and cleaning the equipment. I have gone in early and seen them preparing for the day. It is quite a united effort. Again, the cafe is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend everyone visit this Tropical Smoothie location in Lorton if you are nearby or even if you are not. Make your way there. I have passed other TSC locations just to come here.“

“Not sure how to graciously ask this question, but I am usually taken back when I see foodies without prices on their menu. It makes me think those preparing the menu may be arrogant to believe that price means nothing to patrons. Price matters. Are foods and drinks priced too high to be transparent? Are all patrons so well off that price to them really does not matter? I will sometimes pass over a place if they hide their prices, just because there are so many others that do not hide them. The atmosphere just by itself deserves a reluctant visit.“

“The Addis Teff is delicious. Good flavor and pairs well with food. Was really good with the smoked sweet swiss cheese from the Fresh Mkt. I first tried one in a choose your own 6 pack and was hooked. The lager was good, but this is my favorite. I tried it because I'd never heard of beer made from Teff, and I like trying new things. I wish Fresh Mkt had the honey one as well. I have bought the Addis Teff a few times now. Someday I want to visit the brewery!“

“The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. “I had the black noodles, galbi and the spicy beef stew, and these dishes were outstanding. The galbi was perfectly marinated—sweet, savory, and grilled to tender perfection with just the right amount of char. Every bite was juicy and full of flavor.

The spicy beef stew (yukgaejang) was equally impressive. Rich, hearty, and packed with shredded beef, vegetables, and just the right level of heat. It had that deep, comforting flavor that warms you from the inside out. The broth was addictive, and the portion was generous.

Great service, cozy atmosphere, and authentic Korean flavors. This place is a must-visit for Korean food lovers! A great place for authentic, hearty Korean meal.“

“Honeygrow was bright, inviting, and a great first experience. Beverly was super helpful and friendly, even though they were closing in 15 minutes. I tried the chicken shawarma and garlic butter chicken — the shawarma wasn’t really spicy to me, more of a sour/pickled flavor, but the garlic butter chicken was delicious. I also liked the digital menu with pictures and that they offer samples. I’ll definitely be back to try the banana pudding.“

“Hey, I don’t usually eat fried chicken whatsoever, but when I entered Dave’s Hot Chicken in Fairfax VA, I was immediately greeted by a young little middle eastern boy who I believe was named Ikram. I was really having a bad day, so this energy really made me excited to be there and eat. Ordering with the little gigglemug boy Ikram really made me a happy cabbage. It was just the pang-wangle I need to brighten my day. I ordered a number 3 with medium spice, and might I tell you it was delightful, dare I say near perfection. This is all thanks to my little kadoova Ikram, he really did it special, even going out of his way to advertise me a special drink called a flash in fruit punch slushy. For this hot day, it really hit the spot. This experience at Dave’s was just a 10/10. The food and service was just amazing. Ikram was simply the bee’s knees, the cherry on top for this experience.to have such another amazing experience at a take out restaurant, it would compare to herding cats! “The people working there are so pleasant and kind. The food is delicious and plentiful portions. I had leftovers. The best Indian food I've ever had. Everything was fresh. The music they played was Indian and I really enjoyed it. Would definitely return. My only request would be if they served Coke Zero, but definitely not a big deal that they don't. I had the spinach and onion fritters and they were so good and the garlic Naan is too. My daughter had the chicken vindaloo and her boyfriend had the butter chicken. “After hearing of Bunnyman for months, I decided to hit it up with a few friends on a Friday night. It did not disappoint at all. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is serene with great music. The music volume is perfect too so you can still socialize without having to shout. My favorite amenities though, are the self-pour feature, the diversity of beer flavors, and the ease of paying. The taps are really easy to use and to keep track of how much your bar tab is accumulating. On top of that, you don't have to wait at all for a refill- just head on up to the tap and pour, amazing system! The Irish Red beer was my go-to, and it was very pleasing to see that on tap when it's not actually Oktoberfest season, (I can never seem to find it most times of the year). We will all definitely be back, as well as looking forward to visiting their Lorton location! Keep up the great work and the awesome selection of beers, mad props!“
