They have many ice cream flavors, but Superman was not the tasty Superman ice cream I know so I didn’t really enjoy that flavor.

“Hidden gem of a shop, literally as you have to navigate through an office building to get there. The presumably owner was wonderful and very helpful, he also emphasized his use of extra virgin olive oil for health. I don’t think the Chicken Msakhen I got was on the online menu, but so so tasty.

More of a takeout shop than a date night vibe, but it does have free WiFi! Please consider giving them your business, it’s so worth it“

“If you are gluten intolerant this may be the beer for you. I have been gluten intolerant for 13 years now. I used to enjoy a beer here and there. Some of the gluten free ones out there are eh, at best. This beer has a full body taste. I did not have any issues drinking it. Now, that being said if you are gluten intolerant you must know yourself really well. It may not be for you, but than again it may. I am just excited that I had no issues and enjoyed a full tasting beer!“

“Clifton Cafe is our new favorite evening spot on the weekends. We’ve been customers since the original owners opened it years ago, but until this past fall we did more to go orders than dine in since the service and time to prep food was often slow and unpredictable. Now we go almost every week. We’ve noticed big improvements since they expanded their kitchen and redesigned the bar area. Their new pull up bar is beautiful and spacious. The new owners and management are great too! We love the evening staff as well, especially Ian and Nicole. They are very personable, accommodating, and attentive. They have great happy hour specials from 3-6 and make the best margaritas and espresso martinis. Some of our favorite dinner items include the crab dip, Mediterranean salad, cuban sandwich, burgers, crab cakes, quiche specials, banana pudding, and too many crepes to name! We also appreciate that they have become more family friendly. We had a last minute party of 14 on a Friday evening (half of which were children ages 1-11) and they didn’t hesitate to pull some tables together in a private nook to accommodate our large group (again thanks to Ian and Nicole). We noticed they finally got a changing table in the large bathroom, which they are about to install. Our kids are past that stage, but there were several times when they were little that a changing table would have been helpful.“

“Best birria tacos ever! Make sure you get the sides, rice, beans, esquiotes (elotes in a bowl). It was so good we got food to go to eat tomorrow. We live 60 miles away and unanimously agreed to come back here just for the food. They are getting a liquor license and will start serving drinks next week. I can't wait to return. Additional bonus, the staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, hospitable and the food came out quickly.“

“The best little bakery you could ask for and it’s right in my neighborhood. This could be a problem. Maybe if I walk there I can burn enough calories to justify a daily cinnamon roll. And time my arrival as Max is pulling them out of the oven. Because they are sooo good. Also try the baguettes, croissants, and various pastries that seem to randomly roll out throughout the morning. Note: if you want a fat Cinnabon, go to the mall. These are cinnamon rolls with a moist, barely baked center. Apparently not everyone is a fan of the sweet gooey center. The platter was loaded with flavorful chicken, perfectly cooked rice, fresh salad, and delicious sauces that tied everything together. The portions were very generous, making it an excellent value for the price. “Not sure how to graciously ask this question, but I am usually taken back when I see foodies without prices on their menu. It makes me think those preparing the menu may be arrogant to believe that price means nothing to patrons. Price matters. Are foods and drinks priced too high to be transparent? Are all patrons so well off that price to them really does not matter? I will sometimes pass over a place if they hide their prices, just because there are so many others that do not hide them. The atmosphere just by itself deserves a reluctant visit.“

“Their donkatsu is massive! It's the thinner, old school Korean style donkatsu, which I really enjoyed. The sauce was flavorful, and the cold noodles paired really well with it. If you're craving nostalgic Korean style donkatsu, this is definitely worth trying.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the salt bread because I prefer mine a little more buttery. This one was chewier, with a clean, subtle flavor and a nice nutty richness. It just wasn't my personal preference.

The melon bingsu was huge and could easily be shared by three people. It was refreshing and made a great dessert to finish the meal.“

“We had an amazing dining experience at Makchang Dodook in Springfield! The service was outstanding from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. The large intestine was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked definitely one of the best we’ve ever had. Every dish they served us was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. A special shoutout to our server, Deina, who took such great care of us. She was attentive, kind, and truly showed compassion in the way she assisted us. “Today, after landing at DC Reagan we decided to waste time while waiting for our hotel room at the Archer Tysons to be prepared. While searching AI this restaurant came up so after reading the reviews we decided to visit.

The aesthetic of the restaurant was gorgeous, neither feminine nor masculine but definitely modern and warm. We decided to sit at the bar which was very comfortable and boasted plenty of seating. The bartender/server, Carlos , looked up and saw us and initially didn’t speak ..my husband tapped my leg which is usually an indication to leave but I said let’s give him a chance and boy were we happy we did !

Carlos was fun, courteous, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable during our visit. He gave us his recommendations on drinks, food, and also shared all the specials the company was offering.

Hubby had the Burger and fries and I had the Turkey Burger with sweet potato fries. We also had alcoholic beverages , hubby had a delicious maple old fashioned and I had the blackberry margarita. Everything was cooked to perfection and Carlos put his entire foot in those drinks 🥰!

For dessert I ordered an inflammation Wellness drink because the ingredients looked interesting and it was delicious!

We shared stories of our travels and Carlos shared his experiences in Thailand. The restaurant honored a military discount for me (retired Veteran) and our bill with a 25% tip was about $91

Overall I would say our experience was a 10/10! Restaurant and restrooms were extremely clean, food & drinks were delicious and Carlos was the cherry on top!“

“A very unique microbrewery. You swipe your card & are given a RFID card. You then walk to 14 taps avaliable and place your RFID card into a slot above the tap. It recognizes your name and then you pour your beer. You pay by the ounce. They have 4 oz & 16 oz glasses available and glass rinsers avaliable for you. There is a BBQ food shop in the same building for food.“

One thing I appreciated was that they offer a halal section, which was a nice bonus.

That said, the topping labels were inaccurate or unclear, making it difficult to tell what everything was. For first-time visitors, the ordering process can be confusing, and I think clearer instructions or signage would help. On a busy day, there were quite a few customers wandering around trying to figure out the process, which added to the overall chaos.

The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Sichuan menu is one of the best in the area, second only to Mama Chang's and Hong Kong Palace. This place is pretty new and trying to get its feet underneath it.
