“This is the best restaurant in the area. Yes they’re fancier places, more expensive places, but this is my favorite. El agave is a very small chain. I love all of the food I’ve ever had here. Each time down you receive salsa and chips, and they are so delicious. The salsa is so fresh, and the chips come out hot and crispy.

Service is always excellent, the food comes out quickly and efficiently. I guess my favorite dish is probably fajitas. I got chicken topped with chorizo last time I was there, it was excellent.

I make it a point to stop here every time I’m in the area !!“

“This tiny little drive thru on the side of the road is so fun and so tasty! We were driving by and had to turn around to try it and it was totally worth the stop. The Bailey Irish Cream cheesecake was light and creamy, not too sweet, and simply perfect. The best cheesecake I've ever had. The gentlemen was so kind to show us the different cheesecakes and walk us through the options - I can't say enough about how great this experience was! We will now have to add this detour to our road trips!“

“Wine was better than other VA wineries we’ve tried. Good variety and balance. Their new cafe is in a separate building and has a simple menu of pizzas, cheeses and charcuterie, and gelato. You generally have to walk over to the separate building to pick it up. The grounds were pretty and nicely maintained. Staff was helpful. Live music was good! It was a little hot outside and we could have gone into the AC but we had a dog. All in it was a pretty good visit! My father’s wine was off and when he brought it to their attention they replaced it. Respectable!“

“I recently visited your bakery after having lunch across the street, and I wanted to reach out and share how much I enjoyed the experience. Having grown up in Europe eating fresh baked goods daily, I was immediately drawn in by how delicious everything looked.

Your cafe is lovely, and I found the layout leading past the display case to be an excellent use of space and advertising. Although we were full from lunch, we couldn't resist trying a piece of the coffee cake. The portion was huge for only $5; your portion-to-cost ratio is unbeatable, and the flavor was excellent. I enjoyed it so much that I made a bit of a mess, much to my wife's amusement.

“We are so grateful to have Vint Hill Craft Winery in our "backyard." My family loves the historic atmosphere along with the wonderful crew and fabulous wine, created by Mark! Since we are members, we go often to enjoy our $5 glass and play card games outside with our girls. It's a great opportunity to be with family but also enjoy some wonderful local wines. To top it off, they throw in some great events ranging from firepit Friday's (seasonal), wine makers events, and special events such as their recent Veterans Day Dinner. This event was amazing to attend! We started with some bubbly and then went into a four course dinner, catered by Pampas Fox, which was paired with some of their greatest wines. This event was perfectly done and such a wonderful way to honor those that serve or have served. If you've never been or haven't been in a while, make sure you stop in to enjoy some friendly faces and fabulous vino! Cheers!“

“Love the atmosphere and the food. I came in by myself without reservations. The host at the front went out of his way to find me a table but none were available and a 45 minute wait. Finally a seat at the bar opened and he asked me if I minded sitting there, I said no problem. The bar tender who waited on me was very polite and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Great service and checked on me frequently. I highly recommend this place! I had Fish and Chips snd Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. That was soo good.“

“I love this place! The cinnamon rolls and monkey bread along with suffins. Yum the avocado toasts with different breads and toppings. The salads…EVERYTHING they prepare is fresh and delicious. Though it is often busy and you might need to wait 10 or 15 minutes…it is well worth it. One reason for the wait may be the preparation of specialty drinks including fabulous coffees and teas. A small number of indoor tables fill up quickly and outside seating is comfortable. The staff try very hard to assist every patron.. I LOVE HIDDEN JULES 💕“

“We arrived at the Red Horse Tavern when outside patio seating was crowded with a 45-minute wait but inside we were greeted by a young man and given our choice of three tables in a small room to the right. We were waited on very quickly for drinks and food arrived timely. I couldn't believe how good the Irish burger and salad was, and my wife's Salmon was excellent. Our friends raved about their burgers with sweet potato and regular fries. Great servers made the whole experience relaxing. We felt special even though the room was full within ten minutes when we sat down. We definitely will return, and the prices are fantastic!“

“Don’t get the razzle-dazzle large do to them putting in a small cup. Some time you may get the right size cup do to that you have two different prices one for small and one for large. Very up setting when you know what size cup you are supposed to get and know the difference. Especially when you go there all the time and you’re a regular customer and you spend over $30 or more in your ice cream products. Bad business to cheat your customers. There is know Excuse for this. I have been waiting days now to talk with the manager but they seem not will to talk about any problems you may have. That’s even so sad. I will not be going there no more .“

However, it was the Class A Service from our Server, Cayden who made us feel special!! Cayden went out of his way to be kind and to make us feel valued and appreciated!! He made our night! “Great Italian food, fresh pasta, and in a nice atmosphere. The pizza bianca was really good. Getting the food on the table may take time, but that's usually because something like the fettuccine needs to be made. The reward is that it is really fresh. There's good parking behind the restaurant and outdoor seating is available.“
