“This is the best restaurant in the area. Yes they’re fancier places, more expensive places, but this is my favorite. El agave is a very small chain. I love all of the food I’ve ever had here. Each time down you receive salsa and chips, and they are so delicious. The salsa is so fresh, and the chips come out hot and crispy.

Service is always excellent, the food comes out quickly and efficiently. I guess my favorite dish is probably fajitas. I got chicken topped with chorizo last time I was there, it was excellent.

I make it a point to stop here every time I’m in the area !!“

“We stayed two nights at the Red Fox Inn while celebrating our 46th Wedding Anniversary. The Orange County room in the original historic building was cozy, spacious and well-appointed. The bed was really comfortable and the sitting room was perfect for sipping champagne and wine at night or enjoying the box breakfast and coffee in the morning. We were not disappointed with our room selection for our stay in Middleburg. Our stay was wonderful and a memorable experience. The tavern bar is also small and cozy but does not open until 4:30 PM. Only one disappointment was that The Tavern Inn no longer offers lunch and their dinners are limited to a rather pricey $125 per person 4-course meal offering since the ala carte menu was discontinued a while back. Without the ability to choose from a wider and more reasonably priced menu selection, we chose to eat elsewhere in Middleburg during our stay.“

“Love the atmosphere and the food. I came in by myself without reservations. The host at the front went out of his way to find me a table but none were available and a 45 minute wait. Finally a seat at the bar opened and he asked me if I minded sitting there, I said no problem. The bar tender who waited on me was very polite and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Great service and checked on me frequently. I highly recommend this place! I had Fish and Chips snd Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. That was soo good.“

“I recently visited your bakery after having lunch across the street, and I wanted to reach out and share how much I enjoyed the experience. Having grown up in Europe eating fresh baked goods daily, I was immediately drawn in by how delicious everything looked.

Your cafe is lovely, and I found the layout leading past the display case to be an excellent use of space and advertising. Although we were full from lunch, we couldn't resist trying a piece of the coffee cake. The portion was huge for only $5; your portion-to-cost ratio is unbeatable, and the flavor was excellent. I enjoyed it so much that I made a bit of a mess, much to my wife's amusement.

I wish I lived closer so I could try everything on your menu, but my waist is happy you are a few hours away :)“

“An overall wonderful experience. We came in on June 28th and the overall ambience and food were great, but the service was something special. Our server was Meghan and she was super attentive, funny, charming, and overall made our experience from a 10/10 to a 20/10. The spinach dip was also addictive and worth driving 45 minutes for. I’m from Woodbridge, VA, but the experience at the Warrenton location in particular is worth the drive.“

“We arrived at the Red Horse Tavern when outside patio seating was crowded with a 45-minute wait but inside we were greeted by a young man and given our choice of three tables in a small room to the right. We were waited on very quickly for drinks and food arrived timely. I couldn't believe how good the Irish burger and salad was, and my wife's Salmon was excellent. Our friends raved about their burgers with sweet potato and regular fries. Great servers made the whole experience relaxing. We felt special even though the room was full within ten minutes when we sat down. We definitely will return, and the prices are fantastic!“

“Great Chinese and Thai food! I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and flavorful the sauces were. I was a little skeptical at first because there weren’t many people dining when we arrived, but this place turned out to be such a great find.

The food was fresh, tasty, and exceeded my expectations. The owner was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’m glad we decided to give this place a try and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good Chinese or Thai food.“

Getting the food on the table may take time, but that's usually because something like the fettuccine needs to be made. The reward is that it is really fresh. There's good parking behind the restaurant and outdoor seating is available.“
