“Stopped by Twin Oaks after hiking the nearby Raven Rock trail - the wines were great, the staff friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambiance was comfortable. We did not try the charcuterie boards but they looked amazing. Highly recommend!!!“

“Looking for a great breakfast / lunch / dinner spot? Look no frother than the Purcellville Pub. Driving through the area around lunch time and saw a review about the Fish & Chips and had to stop and verify. And no doubt - great crispy Fish & Chips. 2 large filets with basket of fries. I was really, really good. We also tried the Barrel Burger and the BBQ sauce with crispy bacon and fried onions was very good as well. We left full bummed it’s a location we might only get to once. So glad we did.“

“Love the atmosphere and the food. I came in by myself without reservations. The host at the front went out of his way to find me a table but none were available and a 45 minute wait. Finally a seat at the bar opened and he asked me if I minded sitting there, I said no problem. The bar tender who waited on me was very polite and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Great service and checked on me frequently. I highly recommend this place! I had Fish and Chips snd Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. That was soo good.“
“Old 690 is definitely hard to find, but most definitely harder to leave! Great everything! Beer, food, friendly staff, ambiance, easy going atmosphere, you name it! “Fun, comfortable place to stop in for a tasting with their knowledgable staff -- try everything, even if you don't think you like whiskey or gin. Everything is very drinkable (especially the Honey Hot Whiskey) and we always end up bringing a few bottles home.“

“Had the great fortune of trying this Hazy IPA before meeting the owner Kelsey Grammer and watching him pull beer for a few hours. “Visited this winery with some friends the other week. Wine flightes were pre selected but you can still get a taste of any wine and beer!
Our bartender Arman was very friendly and helped guide us on the best wines to pair with our food. He also gave us a great breakdown on all the beers on draught and gave us amazing food recs (get the carpenters flatbread)!

“We arrived at the Red Horse Tavern when outside patio seating was crowded with a 45-minute wait but inside we were greeted by a young man and given our choice of three tables in a small room to the right. We were waited on very quickly for drinks and food arrived timely. I couldn't believe how good the Irish burger and salad was, and my wife's Salmon was excellent. Our friends raved about their burgers with sweet potato and regular fries. Great servers made the whole experience relaxing. We felt special even though the room was full within ten minutes when we sat down. We definitely will return, and the prices are fantastic!“

“This was our first visit, and we loved it. Family of four and it was ideal for us. The food was great and the service was excellent. Really friendly staff and very attentive and aware without calling by the table all the time. Nice selection of food and everything we ordered was fantastic. Various sports on TV, the music was a good level and everything just worked well. Much more than it might seem! We are definitely going to be back.“

“Premium Service & menu. Great signature drink menu! With a 6:30 reservation the bar area can be energized. We set on the right side in the area behind the wall separating the bar. I would suggest over towards the windows, as we finished, a game of pool started. This did not diminish the Service & menu..Just heads up..Bon appetite!!“

“If you’re from the area and haven’t eaten at Pen’s Oriental Kitchen in Purcellville, are you really from the area?
This place has become a staple for us. The food presentation is always impressive, and the quality never disappoints. Like many smaller, locally owned spots, the service can vary, sometimes fast, sometimes a bit of a wait, but that’s part of the charm. When they’re busy, you feel it, but when they’re not, everything comes out quick and just as good.
Either way, it’s always worth it. We keep coming back because the food delivers every time, and that consistency is what matters. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out.“
