Kitschy, warm decor and a cinco de mayo vibe make me wanna’ be here every weekend! Staff is super friendly and warm. The food is plentiful and cheap. $11 for a scallop enchilada smothered in cheese and beans and rice on the side. I’m not a beer girl usually but the Modelo on draft here tastes better and colder and can’t explain it ….may be their huge frosty mugs or the fresh chips and salsa. Buts it is crave worthy on a tgif! If you're looking for decent Mexican food, this is the place! If you're looking for good Alcohol drinks, definitely come here. I came here with my family during the busiest day in Haymarket on any given year.... Haymarket Day, the street was not only blocked off but with plenty of vendors and plenty of other food however, we decided to swing in here and give them a try.If you're not a local, you definitely didn't have a clue what was going on. Coming from the Southwest border a stone’s throw from Mexico, it has been a serious challenge to find authentic Mexican food in NOVA. El Vaquero West had some of the best food we’ve tried.
