“Great car hops, fast service, reasonable prices. Highly recommend. They started a new menu item today, chicken livers, I think I was the first to order them. They were very good, soft and moist not hard and chewy. Well seasoned and came with Cole slaw, fries and 2 rolls for $10. I recommend if you like chicken liver, give it a try.Parking: This is a Drive in restaurant so parking is fine.”

“This was such a perfect place! The building is cool, the views are perfect and THE ICE CREAM??? Incredible. Definitely recommend to anyone in the New River Valley or anyone wanting to take a scenic drive and eat some great ice cream. The owner helped us pick flavors and recommended the cherry. I'm not usually a fruit person but this ice cream may have single handedly converted me to liking cherry ice cream. It was so creamy and the flavors were so good. Absolutely recommend!”

“Very good lunch specials and food at Sal's. The 2 big slices of pizza with my choice of two toppings was very filling. My partner got a calzone which is enough for two. While on a strip mall, the interior looks very Italian and more than expected. Service was very good too.”

“A cute little diner tucked to the side of Tangent Outfitters, which is a convenient store/outfitter/gas station. It's a very popular breakfast place w locals and an idea location for nourishment following a hike at nearby Cascade Falls (2 mi up the road). Big menu to choose from. Specials each day like the roast beef open face sandwich w gravy. We ordered a Greek Feta wrap and a tuna melt. Mine was homemade tuna salad w cheddar cheese heated on a croissant. Sooo good!! The Greek Feta wrap was on a spinach wrap w cucumbers, olives, spinach, roasted red peppers, feta, and ranch dressing. Both orders came with a bag of chips & a pickle spear. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere.”

“We had a appointment nearby and wanted a quick bite before heading home. I am a “pizza snob” and prefer thick crust pizza, but this thinner crust was delicious. My wife had a Margarita pizza and loved it. I had the interesting steak and chimichuri pizza and it was delicious. Our server was very obliging and friendly. We would return here!”

“The husband and I decided to try this place out for Valentine's Day. We got there a little after 8 and they close at 9. I felt bad because you could tell they had been slammed, but that's how his work hours went so.... anyway... the food was really good. The sever was super nice. I'd eat here again.”

Not a lot of choices the donuts were hard and the egg rolls were ok. Not the best . Could have had better choices and more of real Chinese food like sliced pork or teriyaki on a stick with a hot flame ? to cook it at your table.”

“This is a really nice little Snow Cone Shack they make really nice Hawaiian shaved ice snow cones. Great flavors awesome price places to sit, close to the road parking. You can get in and out easily and quick service. they are only open seasonally though”

“Amazing dinner! Matt our server was great! Loved everything! Recommend the Grilled oysters and fried green tomato small plates. Shrimp and grits, trout, Rosemary Chicken and venison tenderloin were delicious. Our table overlooked the cabin and filming locations from Dirty Dancing. Loved the historic and charming feel of the buildings. Must try the Chocolate brownie and crème brûlée to finish out the night!”

“This subway location has come a long way. We used to get our subs here years ago but the quality had gone way down so we stopped placing orders. Now that this location is under new management and has cleaned up the store, we're back! Still not quite 5 stars but definitely a healthy 4. No more brown guacamole! “Our local hardees was so packed the other morning we went to get food. No one was ugly or rude and the staff was concerned and trying their best to get everybody taken care of. It's what I like to see! And leave the darn cinnamon rasin biscuits!Parking: In the morning rush there is extra parking in the side lot”

“I come here a lot, and every time, I get great service! It's always late, so I can't speak for the day shift. However, the evening and late night employees are amazing. I never have to wait on my order, and if I do, it's no more than a couple of minutes. They are very accommodating when something is wrong or need to add or change an item. I really appreciate these guys. If its gonna be right at closing or a minute or 2 after, I call to let them know I'm on my way, and they have always been willing to help me. A great crew, huge menu, and yummy food makes for a positive experience everytime!!”

“The pizza is pretty basic. There isn't but so much a person can do with pizza but I'm practically addicted to the new puffs. The service is really good even with them being super busy everytime I go in but they are still always really nice with good customer service mainly the bigger African American guy. The shorter femal manager is really cool too.”
