“Last night in a rush, I came to grab dinner and under much pressure and time restraints, not only was I greeted with a beautiful smile by Layla, but the team prepared my food and smoothie in a jiffy! I honestly felt like it was made with love and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and the flatbread was well-prepared. After a long, hard day, something so small like a trip to Trop (lol) really put me in a much better mood. The place was clean and while I waited, the small talk with the team was refreshing. “Playa bowls is delicious & the best place to get any type of açaí 👍🏻 I had spine surgery and also have Crohn’s disease so my appetite is rather difficult and for whatever reason playa bowls was like the only thing that really that would sit well & feel good to eat, had to have it regularly for months 😅“

“I ordered the Greek and the smoked salmon and added a poached egg to both, my goodness, the food was amazing. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. I also got the cold-pressed juice called Cure since I’m feeling a bit under the weather, and wow, it was so satisfying. My husband ordered the Heartthrob, and once again, just out of this world.

Dela helped us with ordering and checked in on us, and the service was truly top notch. The place itself is so cute and inviting, which made the experience even better. “The Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Lorton offers such a wonderful and positive experience. The staff, especially Evelyn, Tesla, and Sheila are friendly and efficient. They all put forth “ over the top effort” to make your food exactly the way you like it. I love the way they make my Mocha Madness. It is so creamy, flavorful and thick. When I go away for a few weeks, I immediately make my way back to this TSC the day after I get back. I so enjoy purchasing the freshly made Chicken Thai Salad. I can’t say enough good things about the staff, their efficiency, friendliness and knowledge. The cafe is kept clean. I have watched them keep the entire area clean where they are preparing our food, and cleaning the equipment. I have gone in early and seen them preparing for the day. It is quite a united effort. Again, the cafe is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend everyone visit this Tropical Smoothie location in Lorton if you are nearby or even if you are not. Make your way there. I have passed other TSC locations just to come here.“

“I would give this place 10 stars out of 5 if I could. You read that right.If the vegetables and fruits were any fresher, you'd be picking soil out your teeth. I wanted a spinach, celery, ginger, apple fruit smoothie, and I watched the nice lady cut a whole apple, deleaf the celery stalks, and slice the ginger root in front of my eyes. Super labor intensive and affordable. Meanwhile, Smoothie King... You know?And then she asked me "All natural? Or do you want honey or some sugar?""All natural," I said. Then she gave me a sample. I smacked my momma, who wasn't even there.I ordered 5 more smoothies.“

“My 4-month-old and I absolutely love this place. The ambiance, environment, and design are wonderfully spacious and kid-friendly. The top-notch food and drinks, especially the fresh sugar cane juice, are my personal favorites. My little one would probably agree if he could express it (maybe in a year). Overall, I'd rate this place 9.5/10. The only thing missing is an entertainment center or a selfie/promo spot for young adults, but they more than make up for it with their incredible drink.“

“Has a great tropical vibe in music, colors, and artwork. Plenty of good hot and cold eats on the menu and seating. We love going for a smoothie, salad, or açaí bowl after working up a sweat at hot yoga. They used to have a caribbean jerk chicken salad, but no more now they have the wrap which has some heat and so good! Oh and don’t forget some Miss Vickie’s chips and a fresh baked cookie to hit the road. Love that this chain is available in any town or if we travel out of state.“
