My boyfriend is from Japan and he recommended this for date night after hearing about it from other Japanese locals.
It did not disappoint. We used to be exclusively Ariake stans but this place takes the cake.
As soon as we walked in I felt like I was transported to Japan. The smells, the decor, the low-key-ness.

Older small and cozy place with fresh ingredients. Authentic Japanese dishes, no fancy. Food are prepared by Japanese chefs.
They can get very busy, and that caused some lacking of services, otherwise good services.
A reservation on the weekends is a good idea.

The food is authentic and delicious, sushis are generous with the amount of fish, and the vibe transports me back to Japan. They were unfortunately out of stock on a few items, but everything we ordered was great. No notes, please give them a try!
