Aight this place is FIREEEEEE the most authentic tasty ox tails you will ever have. Few things to keep in mind though. It’s a hole in the wall spot (usually the best) and only had one employee. So i highly recommend you call to ensure they are open and don’t just assume they follow the hours listed on Google. Also the prices on the online menu are a little off. Every platter is one size only and the oxtail was about 20$. Worth every penny though that food was AMAZINGGGGG
My go to is j*** chicken, brown chicken. The rice and peas sometimes have pimentos cooked whole within the mix. I enjoy those so much I went to the store and bought some hoping to recreate some island cuisines. I’ve not been lucky with the beef patties. Also Ackerman & fish are on my future list to try.

Been coming here for years, always solid. Covid probably had them take a hit like most places. New management is involved, had the brown stew chicken. It was on point, rice was good, cabbage and plantains were on point. They are also remodeling and have more specials. I get my Caribbean /Jamaican fix here in fairax. Solid spot
