Draper's Steak & Seafood Reviews
Terrible Steak for a restaurant that prides itself on its steak. I ordered the 14 oz aged ribeye. I’ve never seen a 14 oz ribeye that was aged the was tough and a 14 inch thick. The server had a great attitude but that wasn’t a dry aged 14 oz steak and it was tough. I would never recommend this place as a steak restaurant. Our daughter had the sea bass and loved it but my wife had a filet that she was a disappointment also. We will not be back unless we want sea bass.
We went for Sunday brunch yesterday and our server was CJ. The bottomless mimosas were served in coup glasses and were plentiful (limit of 5 per person 👍🏻). I had the Huevos Rancheros which were served with breakfast potatoes and the order was big enough to share. The service was quick and thoughtful. I’d definitely recommend Drapers for Sunday brunch. The lunch and dinner menu looked interesting and I’m sure we’ll be back. A corner jewel...read full review
Came here with my husband for a Sunday date night. Omg everything was so good we finished it all. Started off with the salmon tatare which I highly recommend - it’s sweet and savory. Draper's Steak & Seafood offers a friendly atmosphere with accommodating staff and a varied menu. It has a nice, sophisticated feel without being stuffy or pretentious, making it a great spot for both an excellent date night or casual family brunch or dinner. The menu includes some different choices beyond the usual steakhouses, such as pork chops or shrimp po’ boys, while also featuring the classic beef cuts expected at a steakhouse. The food and service are generally praised as fantastic, with starters like Grilled Oysters, spinach, and Cheese dip receiving high marks. Entrees include baby back ribs that fall off the bone, fish and chips, cod, crab cake, and chicken salad, all served with good portions. Though portions may sometimes be small, the quality of food is generally good, with highlights like the Tuna Tartare and fries. The restaurant’s bar is stylish and offers attentive bar service along with tasty bar snacks. Desserts like the bread pudding are highly recommended, especially if you love bread pudding, and the staff, including servers like Adrianna, are very kind and attentive. Overall, Draper's is seen as a hidden gem with plenty of parking options, and some dishes like Fried Oysters and Lobster Roll have received mixed reviews. The chef’s skill is often appreciated, and the atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for celebrations or casual dining. The diverse menu and good service continue to impress guests, with live music creating a pleasant vibe. Recent visitors found the steaks very good, though a little pricey, and enjoyed dishes like Chicken Marsala. While some found the steak slightly overdone, they plan to adjust their preferences next time. The overall experience remains positive, with many looking forward to returning and trying more items on the menu.
