Latin American Restaurants near Fairfax

“The name is a little misleading. They serve authentic Latin American cuisine. Not a huge place, seating is limited. Consider takeout. I’m a huge fan of their salteñas and fried plantains. Very affordable. Entree portions are generous in my opinion. I’ve only been for lunch and dinner. The bakery case has lots of treats that I need to explore.“

“It's a great place to stop in and get a bite to eat if you must and service is wonderful but the portions were tiny and not very good I got the carne asada at lunch, which was $13 and the piece of meat was about 4 inches by 4 inches and obviously a very thin, cheap cut with maybe about 2 tablespoons of rice and like 6 or 7 fries tossed on top. That was a bummer and doesn't make you really want to return unfortunately...“

“This place is such a hidden gem. Been here twice now and keep accidentally ordering too much food because the portions are enormous are the prices are so reasonable. Everything I've ordered has been delicious and I especially love the tamales de elotes frito and the tajadas on the side.“
