“Service is always excellent at Open Road! We made a reservation and able to sit outside on a really nice evening. Drinks were good, fish and chips good except for too much salt on fries. Cole slaw very good too. I usually order chicken salad lettuce wraps but was not eating meat last night. A very good appetizer for next time along with their burgers!“

“We came here for lunch and had a hard time finding street parking near by. I had the French onion soup which was decent but my chicken Cobb salad was extremely salty. The saltiness ruined a perfect good salad. My husband ordered a burger which was OK, not spectacular and so was the coleslaw. The waitress was nice and paid attention.“

“We were absolutely thrilled to work with Jess at Moreland’s Tavern for our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks. Jess was fantastic from start to finish, helping us create the perfect event and menu while staying within our budget. The upstairs of the restaurant was set up beautifully for our party, complete with a photo slideshow of us playing on the TVs, which added a nice personal touch. The dinner was delicious, and our rehearsal dinner guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the roasted chicken was! After the sit-down dinner, Jess and her team seamlessly transitioned the space into a more casual area where the rest of our guests could mix and mingle, complete with an open bar and light snacks. The bartenders, Jess and Max, were absolute pros—our guests certainly kept them busy and they did an amazing job keeping us and everyone happy throughout the night. Jess and the team at Moreland’s Tavern made our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks unforgettable. As our neighbors up the street, we are so glad Moreland’s was a part of our wedding weekend as a favorite neighborhood spot we can revisit again and again. We highly recommend them for anyone looking for a great event venue with top-notch service!“

“Good local bar to eat and drink“
“This place looked good so we wanted to give it a try. We got the pollo saltado (chicken with red onion and fries in a tasty sauce with rice) and pesto lomo (beef with spaghetti in a basil pesto). Both were served with garlic bread, and both were delicious. I asked for the chicken to be without tomatoes. Unfortunately it was served with tomatoes, but Geraldine apologized and quickly replaced it with no tomatoes. We also tried the raspberry cola inglesa (yum) and flancocho - a chocolate / vanilla-ish (?) cake that was delicious. The prices seemed a bit high, but the food and menu seemed very authentic. 100% Peruvian according to them... Our bill said "Hot and cold" so maybe it's their partner?“

“I went to this restaurant with my sister yesterday for lunch. The food was delicious and the waitress was very pleasant actually very very polite But, the guy at the bar was rude and plays music very loud @1pm. We had to change our seats away from the middle section. what a mixed experience.“
