“This was my first time visiting the restaurant as I’m new to DC, just moved here from Atl this week. I had a taste for some Jamaican food and decided to try this Caribbean restaurant. The food was incredible and Marcus provided excellent service as well as the entire staff. First of all there are beautiful glass jar candles at each table( I sat at an high top), there are a few options for water, I choose sparkling (got to take the remaining sparkling water bottle home). Every one was kind and friendly which means a lot to me. I knew what I wanted to eat for my first time here, with one glance at the menu ordered the Red Snapper with Tamarind sauce and black rice, two Pineapple Chow adult beverages, and Rum Cake A La Mode (to go). Five stars for everything from the location(parked on the street), music, service, atmosphere, quality, and value. It gave me just the Caribbean vibe I longed for. I will be back for many more lunch/dinners.
Parking: I just had perfect timing on a busy Sunday late afternoon where someone was leaving their spot as I arrived.“

“Celebrated a friends birthday there today. Service was excellent and management and the bartender all helped out to make for a great experience for my group. The guacamole was tasty as was the short rib hash. The vibes were awesome in there and even though my party got a hit loud the staff was extremely patient and willing to take care of all our needs. Drinks were flowing and the mimosas were great as well.“

“I've been going to Crown Bakery since it first opened over 20 years ago. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere has a true Caribbean vibe. The baked goods and street food is authentic Trini food. It's always a pleasure to visit.“

“I've eaten here a couple of times now, and I highly recommend it. I actually didn't go there with particularly high expectations, but I was so pleasantly surprised. They have several vegan dishes and everything I tried was delicious. While the ambiance is a bit underwhelming, it is honestly so nice to eat someplace where no one has to shout to be heard. I can't wait to go back again.“

“Was very impressed with their selection they had traditional and new school items, they even let me try a sample of the oxtail, which I will definitely be ordering next time.
What I ordered (Salmon and shrimp with rice and peas and cabbage)“

“There is no dine—Take out only
Parking is tricky, it’s best if you have some one drop you in front and then pick you up after you get the food
Got jerk chicken, jerk mac and cheese, and oxtail. All around amazing food and portions are fair, cost about 46 total, so pricing is about 20 per person.
Relatively fast service and nice staff“

“Came for an impromptu lunch which I missed because lunch specials end at 1pm. Decided to order anyway. The staff was very professional. I ordered the Curry Chicken with a jerk chicken Pattie. The food was so delicious. I always get disappointed by Jamaican food restaurants in the area, but this one did not disappoint.
The food is seasoned very well. The curry sauce was not watered down and the chicken was so moist. The food was hot which I absolutely love because warm food to me is just gross!
The jerk Pattie tasted like I was back in Jamaica. Very good.
I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. I’m glad I found a good authentic Jamaican restaurant!“

“If you want authentic Caribbean food this is the place to go. Whenever I’m in the area I have to stop by Caribbean corner. The food hands down is the best in Virginia and I’ve been to many Caribbean restaurants and they offer the best portion sizes for what you pay for. The food is delicious, my favorite is the Oxtails. Love, love, love, this place. Highly recommend Caribbean Corner.“

“If you looking for authentic Jamaican place to eat in NoVa, this is a family owned little restaurant on Fairfax you shouldn’t pass on visiting . Food is very good , not going to get into specifics, it’s just perfect the way it is. You may order anything you like, you will love it!!
Grandma leading the kitchen w many decades of authentic Caribbean cooking experience and will not leave your taste buds disappointed. No matter what you going to order.
But if ever have a taste for peanut punch, and this is something you really NOT GOING to find anywhere BUT here!!!
But you have to place an order with them directly ,ahead of time because this item isn’t on the menu. Freshly made for ur special order with or without oats, and it’s sooooo good, you must try it if you never had it. If you had it, you already know what’s coming up. Cheers Fam, will be ordering as usual ? already know it ?“
