yummmmmm bento box did not disappoint
A comfortable, casual restaurant with attentive service and flavorful sushi. I particularly liked the Maki Platter, which was a very good price for what it was. Parking was free in the back, and finding something gluten free in the sushi section was easy.
I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and it’s been consistently excellent every time. Tonight Tao brought out my Chirashi Deluxe and made sure I knew the boat had two floors. Good thing too, because I was busy trying to figure out whether the cucumber and salmon roe were decoration. 😂

Maneki Neko Japanese Restaurant offers delicious sushi and ramen, with fresh fish and creative desserts like raindrop mochi. The cozy atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience, although seating can be limited. The service is exceptional, with thoughtful staff, though there may be occasional minor issues. The restaurant has a peaceful and relaxing ambiance, perfect for lunch or dinner. Highlights include California rolls and tempura ice cream. While some aspects of the service may be inconsistent, the overall experience is fantastic, making it a top choice for a meal. Free parking is available, though it can fill up quickly on weekends.
The restaurant is an Okinawa-style Japanese eatery, a small business in Falls Church. The dining room is cozy and comfortable. Customers have praised the miso ramen with chashu (meat) and egg, as well as the soba noodles recommended by the owner. The sushi is considered the best in the area, with the rice always at the perfect temperature and texture. The Okinawa soba is also a highlight, reminiscent of the owner's childhood on the island.
