“This operation has been around Falls Church forever and is a staple for a good breakfast and lunch. The reason I gave four stars is that, for some time now, they have added a nuisance fee to the check entitled "TEMP Inflation". Newsflash to the owners: we all have had to deal with inflation without being able to collect extra money for doing so. The pandemic is over, inflation is under control, and it is time to remove this junk charge.“

“Hangry Joe’s is great, especially with this location. Unlike the other hangry Joe’s in Fairfax, they serve boba tea, which is actually pretty good. Prices are reasonable and affordable for nearby students. Their food does take time, about 20-30 minutes, as they have with my order, but, overall, pretty good hot fried chicken. I think the only suggestion I have would be to make the spice more infused on the chicken, and not to hide the bread underneath. It seems like my fingers are red with the chili spice powder to spice the chicken, and I didn’t realize there was bread until I was halfway into the chicken.“

“I finally made it here! & to see the hype and because my yelp friends kept mentioning it!!... its total cooked up legal crack!! Got a chicken box and let me tell you!! It's No regular fried chicken!! That chicken skin must be dipped in finely grounded in house or fresh Amish market rinds bacon & made until crispy it's definitely Something!!! cuz it's heavily reminiscent of pork rinds!!! It's chicken that you can't compare at ALL.. from the coating the juicy seasoned chicken when you bite into it it's flavor through and through and that's where A LOT of establishments miss it your chicken meat has to be seasoned too!!! just just after you fry it!! The Mumbo Sauce is highly recommended!! it has a excellent kick to it can't be compared to your hood mumbo sauce either!! Like not even a little bit!! The service and ambience is very chill friendly . Oh and if you're worried about your chicken getting soggy skin after you close your box even for 15 minutes!! It won't happen your skin stays CRISPY CRUNCHY!! And that's Top Tier right there and doesn't dry out if you nuke it in the microwave for a little bit. It's safe to say I'll be returning here to try other items!!“

“The food was pretty good. Simple small restaurant, very tight once you come in. For the price you pay, it is a great alternative with regard to most breakfast restaurants.I feel the waffles were too thin. The staff are extremely nice.Parking: Parking available on the sides of the restaurant.“

“I've been here other times for a ladie's day out and have really enjoyed it. This time, my husband and I came for a date night. The restaurant just started to get popping around 745, which was snice because we had seats at the bar, and people were starting to fill in for dinner and drinks. Food is fresh, great flavor and the play on names for the entrees are fun and funny. I do wish my waffle sandwich was a little hotter in temperature UT other than that it was all great. Will deff be back“
