“Orofino is single-handedly the best restaurant in Fredericksburg. The food is all one of a kind, homemade recipes. The specialties are always delicious, and their self labeled wine is a must as a house warming gift or a bottle (or two) for the table. Honestly, it’s where I recommend everyone goes if they’re looking to try something new. You’ll never have to look for another restaurant after going.”

“Had an early lunch at Laurita’s chicken. It was our first time. The place was VERY clean and the food was DELICIOUS!! We both got carne asada tacos and the chicken tacos and they were 10/10. Extra props for the tortillas being made fresh and they were HUGE! I also saw that they have Pozole on Friday & Saturday so I will def be back for that as well and to try EVERYTHING else on the menu! The salsas were delicious. They gave us a smoky salsa, an avocado-lime, and a spicy salsa. All DELICIOUS!! Definitely an amazing hidden gem and I am sad that this was my first time trying it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It is in the Breezewood shopping center off of Courthouse Rd. Where Big Lots and Starbucks are.”

“Had dinner and drinks at the Fredericksburg location Adriana, Jayla, and Taylor the bartenders were so awesome. Such a great vibe had dinner at Firebirds the night before totally underwhelming the bartenders at Park Lane worked in unison and absolutely friendly and engaging with the customers. Those three should actually own the bar. I will definitely be back next time. I travel to Fredericksburg.”

“We were driving from New Jersey to North Carolina and decided to stop here for food and I’m so glad we did! The food was exquisite, full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The service was also very, very good everyone was welcoming and quick. We were originally going to go to Chick-fil-A but ended up here instead, and it turned out to be such a great choice. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!”

“I held a medium sized (60-70 person) wedding reception in their banquet room and it was absolutely PERFECT! They let us arrive at the banquet room a couple of hours early to decorate. All of their food options were delicious - I can speak specifically to the eggplant dish - YUM! The staff were kind and professional the entire night. We brought our own dessert but they were still happy to provide plates and silverware for us. The provided Bluetooth speakers which was plenty loud enough for a great post meal - dancing experience!

I cannot say enough nice things about everyone we worked with, I do not know all of their names but Tom was SO helpful with assisting with the logistics of the evening and Steven at the bar was EXCELLENT! 10/10, would recommend.”

That is what you will find here - food done in the Old World way with reverence for the animal and attention to every aspect from treatment to harvesting to the table. Recommended!”

“These folks know what’s up. We tried them out for the first time last night and I assumed it would be amazing based just on how good the smoker in the parking lot smelled. I was right.

The experience was awesome from the time we walked in the door. Friendly, accommodating, staff. Easy to read menu system. Even a self serve station to take home some of their house made barbecue sauces. There’s plenty to choose from!

We ordered food to take home: a pulled pork sandwich, one of the specials: the pit beef sandwich with horseradish sauce and onions (they subbed the raw onions for pickled onions for me, highly recommend,) the Brunswick stew, pimento mac and cheese, the brisket, smoked deviled eggs and jalapeño cornbread with their house made compound butter.

Not one single crumb disappointed. The food traveled well, was still hot when we got home, and the portions were more than generous. I waited a day to leave this review just so I could also confirm leftovers reheat just as fantastic as same day.

“This place is literally my favorite Mexican restaurant on the planet. I grew up going here for special occasions; in high school I went multiple times a month with friends; as a college student, I look forward to coming home and visiting here. Friendly staff, AMAZING food, and really low prices. Could not recommend more.”

“Definitely tasted different this time. Like my crust tasted like garlic. The 2 other ppl I was eating with said the same thing. I wasn’t expecting the taste to linger as long. Took 2 beers to get that taste out of my mouth. Why ask if I want 8 or 16 slices, I asked for 8 but got 16… I hyped this pizza up so much n my out of town peeps were not impressed. Of course we’re use to Philly pizza, which is hard to beat. Now what am I gonna do with the rest we didn’t eat? Paying was easy, I’ll say that. Although my cashier was less than friendly.”

“I am currently here now and once again they are amazing with customer service. I’ve posted my past review on google and forgot to post one here. It is rare to meet a family business who takes pride in their business in a good way. The workers also work so hard and will smile you all the way out the door. I just really love it here. My favorite is the fried chicken and hope cakes. Me being from Chicago and recently moving here, it’s like a piece of home that I have in those wings. I totally recommend 1k percent. If I had a group with me I would give the entire establishment a standing ovation. Keith Lee really needs to check this place out.”

“I haven’t been here in years & now I’m wondering why. The place is so cute & clean, literally EVERY employee greeted us with a smile, they were super patient while we decided what to order, everything came out quickly & everything was SCRUMPTIOUS. I ordered a Chipotle Chicken Sandwich w potato salad & added a side salad with Greek dressing that came with a roll. Portions were amazing & everything was fresh. My husband got the Cobb Salad…everything from the lettuce to the avocado was so fresh! My little one got the chicken tenders and what tasted like homemade apple sauce? Then of course we got desserts to go. We will def be back! So impressed.”
