I finally asked, only to find out it was never made. We were promised a pizza in 4 or 5 minutes, over 10 minutes later still nothing. We asked for a refund and left. Never coming back again.”

“Traveling for Florida to Pennsylvania, we happened to find “Happy Cinco DeMayo”! Wow…..What a Great Restaurant!!! Fantastic, Homemade, Authentic Mexican Food, the best we have ever had! This should be a “Destination” stop for anyone traveling through this area. Conveniently located at I-77 & I-81, it is easily located. Do not pass up this Mexican cuisine that is far above all the rest. Oh, and almost forgot to mention, “Very Reasonably priced and the Service was “Grrrrreat “! “Now THIS is a chinese restaurant! I didn't write a review on the day I went there, but after trying something else today, I just HAD to!
The staff were friendly, the food came out fast, and the atmosphere was good. Maybe a little over the top.. but they chose a theme and stuck with it.
Now.. onto the food.. Like I said.. it was fast. We must have been sitting there no more than 10 minutes when our food came out. My husband got the orange chicken, and although I thought it didn't have a really strong flavor (at that time), at least it tasted good and you could actually taste the flavor they were going for! The place I just visited had orange chicken that was incredibly salty.
I got the steak chop suey at Peking, and it was delicious! Way better than the over salted travesty I just had. Another thing I am impressed with that I didn't realize at the time.. the portion size.. both places I went to (Peking... and the place I went to today) had similar prices.. however the place I went to today had portions half the size!
Overall we had a far better experience a couple nights ago at Peking, and we will definitely be back!”

“Peace in the Valley was a great show with excellent singers. Our group enjoyed the show very much! The food was another story. The broccoli slaw was full of tough stalk- like pieces with no flavor. The Shepherds pie was just ok but, disappointed that it was served as an entree at such a nice event.
Tea was very good.
The servers had a lot of people to serve and feel that extra help would have made serving easier. This is the first time that our dinner plates were left on the tables when the show started.
Hoping my comments will be addressed because we love to come to the Wohlfahrt Haus.”

“Great cooks and master brewers. We both had the bacon cheeseburger, and they were awesome! Switchback DIPA for me and Moon Dog Dark Lager for Cheryl were spectacular. Great fries and onion rings made the burgers that much better. Also, the creole gumbo was delicious and authentic, surprised this dish was available at a brew pub. Our experience was topped off by our very efficient and pleasant server Anna. She was fantastic, a Keeper!!! We pass through the Wytheville area every July on our way to and back from our visit to New Hampshire. First time we stayed in Wytheville, however going forward Wytheville and 7 Dogs will be our go to stop.”

“The red hot dog was the worst quality of meat I've ever had and the service was terrible they talked among there self for 10 minutes before we got a waitress to come to the table.will never eat there again”

Being black and stopping in small towns in this area can be scary .Sad to say, but its just our reality. And another guy held the door for us when we left. “This is my go to starbucks. Now I visit alot of starbucks everyday and this one is 3 to 4 times a day. There are a few employees here that I will leave if they are ones taking orders or making my drinks as they are rude, and don't make my drinks correctly as ordered but otherwise the others are awesome helpful and do a amazing job. Make sure you go see Tinny, Caroline, Joe, Blake, Tey, Shamass they will make sure you leave with what drink you ordered plus always adds a special comment to your drinks. This is tge BEST starbucks in 6 states I visit and will always come back to!!!!”

“Traveling through town 3/29/25 I had a group of 15 highschool friends coming home from Florida on spring break. I ordered 9 pies and went to pick them up. The two ladies at the counter struck up conversation while finishing up the order. They were both beyond kind and courteous. They provided cups and plates which was a huge help. When I told them I would need to make more than one trip to the car because I had so much to carry they immediately offered me help. This is what the service industry needs. Kind, helpful and gracious people who strive to serve. The pizza was hot and delicious. Thank you for the hospitality.”

“Man I love the food at Hardee's. Rocks good burgers and fries but I have to say this location has gotten bad lately on the quality of the food . The fries are old an cold an not worth the 3.50 for the med. 4 bucks for sum rubber cold fries . My way of thinking is if I pay 15 bucks a meal it better be rocking the picture they put on billboards not yesterday's stuff . Y'all need to tighten up .”

“This is not a traditional Dunkin. It is a dunkin donut case and several hot & iced coffee options in various dunkin flavors; inside of the Pilot gas station. The downside is you have to make your own beverage BUT you get to make it to your liking!! Very clean establishment, bathrooms, parking lots. Extremely friendly and helpful staff!”
