I was very disappointed with the baristas selectively greeting people this morning, around 8:30 am, I walked in to place my order and nobody greeted me but as soon as a white male walked in the barista female with slick back hair obviously greeted them loudly and even made sure she would say goodbye, the intentional bias towards a female poc was so clear and hope that this post will prompt a clear discussion and hopefully some training on prejudice and bias towards women of color.

This Starbucks Coffee Company location, right on base, is a standout. The staff is super friendly and helpful, always willing to make drinks to a customer's liking. They are knowledgeable about the menu and provide personalized coffee advice. Great teamwork and service is shown, with one customer receiving a pistachio loaf warmed up before even paying. Another customer ordered a venti matcha banana latte, extra hot, no room, no foam, with oat milk, and a barista went above and beyond to make it happen, getting it exactly right. However, the staff is severely understaffed, leading to a 25-minute wait for one coffee. Another customer had an issue with a cashier forgetting to put vanilla sweet foam on an order, and was told to go through the line again and pay for it. Despite these hiccups, the staff remains nice and professional. Many people order online without a hiccup with their coffee. Overall, it is a great place with awesome service and great drinks.
