I live out of town and wanted a fabulous cake to serve for my son’s rehearsal dinner. Eileen made a tiramisu cake, and it was so moist and delicious. Everyone at the dinner went on and on about it. Not only was it delicious, but it was visually stunningly gorgeous. It was a sage green icing with ivory flowers all around…magnificent! I highly recommend this bakery for your special event, and Eileen was delightful!
A constant hit every time. The place is popular on mornings and weekends so expect to stand in line to order. Eileens is set in an old church from 1800s complete with old wooden doors. The baked goods are excellent. One of the best bakeries I know. I try to get there every time I am in FXBG. Expensive but worth the quality. Multitude of options from pastries to cookies to breakfast sandwiches and lunch. Good for the soul (pun intended).
From the time and recommendations that were shared when I called to place an order for desserts to be served at a book club meeting, to the kindness and professionalism I experienced while picking up my order, I have nothing but praise for Eileen's. The pastries were enjoyed by my book club members, and I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich I picked up for the long trek to Maryland for the meeting. It was great discussing options with Eileen after realizing I was too late to order...
