Ladies be careful! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! I was walking to the bathroom with a girlfriend (with a drink in my hand) and a man sitting at a table by the bathroom hollers at me so I turn around and he yells you can’t take your drink in the bathroom leave it on this table so I said no it’s fine I’ll wait for my girlfriend to come out and she can watch my drink for me. Jay’s Downtown Sports Lounge is a solid bar with good tacos, although the beef can be very spicy. The service can be slow when it's not busy, but it's a great place to hang out and play pool. The atmosphere picks up after 10 PM, especially with the DJ playing house dance music. While some guests felt overcharged and suggested not running a tab, others enjoyed the friendly bartenders, particularly Ferad, who is highly recommended. The cleanliness of the lounge could improve, as some noted unpleasant smells. Despite the mixed reviews, Jay’s is a decent spot for a casual night out with friends, especially to watch a game, as the wings are great, but the chicken tenders may not be the best choice.
