“This place has one of the most delicious Tiramisu ever, I am not a dessert girl ever but I ate their Tiramisu and go there weekly to get a well deserved Tiramisu piece, the flavor is just amazing and the sweetness is very balanced, and of course their pizzas are good as well.“
“Our daughter has Celiac's and struggles heavily with cross contamination exposures so Honey and Ivy is a huge blessing. It's an even bigger blessing that they are literally the best gluten free bakery we have ever tasted. We haven't found something yet that was not delicious!“
“Stopped in on a snowy day to finally try this shop. I ordered a latte and cupcakes to go. The cupcakes were perfect! Old fashioned in all the best ways- perfect textures and density of both cake and icing. Perfect flavors emerge amidst a tactful level of sweetness.Skip Georgetown. Come to Haymarket (Heaven?) for cupcakes.“
“Great local bakery! We love their dulce de leche filled horns, alfajores! For Valentine’s Day I got these 3 desserts; they were yummy and reasonable priced (about $7 each). They were bursting with flavor and different texture; I just wish they could be bigger (pretty tiny) :)Heart shape - mousse with strawberry fillingChoco dome - coffee flavoredChoco heart - chocolate mouse with strawberry compote (my fav!)“
“Ms. Jacqueline is gifted and patient, and she possesses extraordinary culinary skills. She allowed me to explain to her what I was looking for, and then she created it. Then, she allowed us to have it for free and to taste test it and asked us to share with her our experience. The cake was absolutely incredible! The taste was supreme; and Ms. Jacqueline's presentation -- with all the blueberries encircling the top of the cake and the very nice see-through box -- was topnotch. We will continue buying vegan cheesecakes from Sweet Pearlz Cheesecakes for years to come!!“
“I've been a fan of this establishment since day one! I remember the first day I got to meet the owners. I was wiring at Okra’s Cajun Creole back them when it existed. To speed up to date I've seen this neighborhood coffee shop grow! My sister's love going there for desets and study! We all adore the almond cake! Stop in! You won't be disappointed.“
“Recently remodeled dining room is just an added bonus. Excellent pizza pie, Greek salad and calzones. Love it! We hit here regularly. Chain pizzas can't compete with Tony's! AND BY THE WAY - one of the few restaurants that did not shut down during the Pandemic! They pivoted and made it work.“
“Coconut Shrimp is really good, the Panang Curry has a good flavor but a little more spicy than expected for its "2?" rating. Thai coffee was just ok, not as flavorful as other places where I normally get it. Most of the time, lemonade can have a weird chemical flavor at restaurants, but their is really good. The service here is really good! Waitstaff is attentive without being intrusive, & even if your waiter is busy, another one will come right over to help if it looks like you need something. Probably my favorite thing about this restaurant! Will visit again for sure!!“
“A bit of a hit-or-miss when it comes to the pastries, but let me tell you those hits HIT. My personal favorites include the brownies, monkey bread and the sugar cookies. As someone with severe nut allergies, it's comforting to have a place like this for my before work snacks. Young staff is friendly and hepful!“
“Food is amazing and fresh. Server could be trained a little more, they didn't seem to know how to make the bowls and gave me half portion of rice and chicken due to her spilling it on counter. I will return food taste and quality make up for experience I had but I'll chalk that up to it being the soft opening.“
