“Husband and I eat breakfast on Sundays at Gainesville Diner. Such a friendly atmosphere, our food is always delicious and hot. Amy is always our waitress--she is absolutely amazing, always friendly, and makes us feel as though we are her very dear friends. She brings us our coffee first thing without us even having to ask for it. The food is great, but Amy is what makes Gainesville Diner so very special.“

“This is a quiet, friendly spot. There is a bar and a seasonal, outdoor patio. The place is clean. There are tvs with sporting events playing. It isn't loud, though, so you can have a conversation. The gem of the place was my server, Allisa. She was very attentive, and she had a great smile. Very friendly and helpful with the menu, too. The prices are fair. Good place for solos or families.“

“Service is good, the one server they had was working hard. Food is not bad and the selection is good but with the tip it comes to about 45 per person for the standard all you can eat. I live close so its convenient but I would not drive more then 20 minutes to come here.“

“Did NOT disappoint! Enjoyed a tasty meal at La Finca this weekend. Staff was friendly and attentive. Most important, the food was delish. Salsa was smooth--just a hint of heat and not too much cilantro. Beef and chicken flautas offered a great crunch and tender meat filling. Chile relleno, filled with melty cheesy goodness, was a hit! The skinny margarita was as you'd expect--good, but not quite the punch of a regular margarita. The mango-habanero shrimp was a beautiful presentation and the sauce packed a great, sweet kick--minus a star for shrimp being really over cooked (easy fix for the kitchen, though). Sounds like the new management team is off to a promising start and we can't wait to visit again!“

They have the best lo mein in the area and their egg rolls are always crispy. They are the reason I fell in love with chicken corn soup and General Tso's. “I made a last-minute reservation at IHOP in Gainesville, Virginia, for a late dinner around 8:30 PM for a group of 30 people. When I arrived, there were only two waiters working and just a few customers, but the manager, Ulises, was kind enough to step in and help one of the waiters, Khrist, serve our group. The service was excellent, and it didn’t take long to place our orders or receive our food. Everything was great, and since 28 out of 30 in our group were seniors, the manager kindly gave us a 10% discount. My T-bone steak was cooked perfectly, and the rest of the group enjoyed a variety of dishes. We finished our meal within an hour. Overall, it’s a great place to eat with fast service and friendly staff.“
