6 Best Fast Food Restaurants in Galax

“Very good food! I love LJS! It's a very underrated restaurant. We don't have but this one anywhere in our area. I have no idea where the next closest is.
It is very expensive these days. It wasn't ever super cheap, but it is most definitely priced high for paper plate kind of restaurant that is self-serve. The fact it's the only one in our area, I would think the owner of it would try to keep it looking more up to date and clean. Outside was little run down, and the door on condiment cabinet was literally hanging by 1 hinge and standing open.
The employees weren't very friendly. They were very attentive to the order screen but not so much the customer. Had to wait for someone to eventually speak to us and finally take our order.“

“* MILKSHAKES ONLY REVIEW ** Accurate as of 10/10/23 *This review is ONLY about the milkshakes because that's the ONLY thing I get from here.I've lived in galax for over 20 years and this is the best place to get milkshakes. I go almost weekly to get a Hand Dipped Chocolate Milkshake - basic, I know, but absolutely delicious. I have tried a couple of the other milkshakes and while some I disliked, it was solely because I disliked the flavor (I dont like Peanut Butter so I didnt like the Peanut Butter shake) and not the quality. I even get milkshakes for people at work, they even keep a note with all of their flavors pinned in the main office for people to pick! Isnt that wonderful?As of for speed, I typically call in my order and get there in ~5 minutes. Its always ready for me! The times that I didnt call it in, nearly all of them were fairly quick even during the busier times, I'd say, average of 5 minutes? The longest I had to wait was around 30, but that was an outlier and only happened once out of the over hundred times I've been.All in all, this is the best milkshake joint around Galax. “I love Hardees break fast but to get a fresh good one you have to go at a specific time before the rush but not so early that you get something thats been under the heat lamp for a bit. Also theres a little old lady that works the morning drive throughs thats worked there for years that me and my wife try our best to go when shes working because the food and service are always best with her.“
