“Excellent food and something different from other nearby restaurants!“

“EL RIO GRANDE IS MY FAVORITE RESTURANT. I USUALLY EAT LUNCH THERE WEEKLY. I ENJOY THEIR SALSA AND CHIPS, AND USUALLLY CHOOSE SOMETHING FROM THE COMPLIMENTARY SALSA BAR. MY FAVORITE FOODS ARE THE LUNCH SPECIAL #1 AND #7. SERVICE IS ALWAYS FAST AND ABOVE AVERAGE. MY ONLY CRITICISM IS THE FAJITAS ARE USUALLY SERVED WITH THE ONIONS AND PEPPERS ALMOST BURNED. AT LEAST THAT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE SEVERAL TIMES, AND FOR THAT REASON I NO LONGER ORDER THEM.“

“The food was good, but nothing super special. I had an enchilada and burrito and they were what youd expect from any Mexican restaurant. Others tried different dishes and nobody said, "Wow you need to try this!" like they would if it had been anything unexpected. Still, if you're in town and want Mexican food, this is a good place to eat. Service was good too.“

“This older style Taco Bell in Galax, Virginia, is pretty nice. When I came in, it was around 3pm and there was nobody there. It didn't take super long to get my fries, but the cashier I was with was very forthwith, in and out with me, instead of being super friendly. A little lacklust in the service department, but otherwise, this place is clean and is decently spacious. It doesn't have a super big interior, so you will probably need to avoid very busy days. The presentation is pretty cute with the more modern TB colors.

All in all, it was an above average visit and I'd go again whenever I am in the area again.“
