“Grabbed dinner here by myself on a Monday evening (in town for work) and it was empty so service was friendly and quick! I got the combo platter with chicken and lamb with spicy sauce (which was soooo good - great kick and flavorful without being so spicy that it interferes with your meal) and did two half sides of a salad and hummus - but these were both plentiful for being halves. Pita bread also comes with it. The meat flavor was excellent- great flavor on its own and elevated to the next level when dipped in the hot sauce. Loved the hummus as well with a little hit sauce mixed in.

And they had an NA beer from Egypt which I have never seen before at a restaurant that didn't have a liquor license but it was a great pairing!

All of this for $26 which is not much more than a meal at Chipotle runs you these days, and so much better. I'll definitely be returning when I'm back in town.“

“I ordered the lamb chop meal and it definitely hit the spot! The lamb chops were seasoned very well, tender, and cooked to perfection, served over a nice bed of jasmine rice. The meal also came with fresh mixed veggies, hummus, and pita, which brought everything together. Great portion size, fresh food, and plenty of flavor. “Compared to its Mediterranean chain competition, Mezeh has an equal or better choice of side dishes/dips/toppings. That's great. The staff is fairly friendly and helpful. Tables could use a bit more cleaning. However, my biggest complaint is the beverage bar, which has some weird combinations of drinks, most of which taste rough. Also, both regular and diet cola were broken. This was also true in Charlottesville. The company should really work on improving this area. Until that's done, I recommend drinking water. I enjoyed the food enough that I'd go back.“
