The fish was delicious and plentiful, but I wanted catfish, not “white fish” (think it was maybe cod?). The slaw had a vinegar taste. It was edible after I salted it. We ordered hush puppies as an appetizer. They were very dense and came with brown sugar butter!! (Not at all like I’d expect ).
The food was overall pretty average. The grilled catfish was probably the best thing we had, but the cornbread was dry and didn’t have much flavor, and the meat was just okay. Unfortunately, all of the food came out lukewarm. Everyone was nice, but our server was pretty slow and forgetful.
