“Have visited this winery twice now. The 1st time was to do a tasting. Their wine is great and their sangria is even better.They do sell sangria by the bottle but it only keeps for about 2 weeks refrigerated. Well with it.Their tasting room is a nice place to have snacks while tasting plus the outside is great too.“

“We love visiting Elk Island Winery - located in Goochland, halfway between Richmond and Charlottesville.The tasting room is nestled back in the woods. They have both a screened in porch and open deck where you can comfortably sip your wine. Space is smaller than other wineries, so it can be a premium on the weekend.Nice selection of reds and whites and you can get a cheese plate to enjoy with your wine too!Daniel and Crista are always so friendly and welcoming.“
