“Went with friends for a long weekend at SML and discovered this winery. It was THE BEST! We did the sweet wine flight and they were all so good, as were our slushies. My husband is not a wine drinker so he had one of their craft beers and he loved it. The owners are so nice! We will definitely be back next time we are at SML!”

“We had a wonderful experience for dinner here. My husband had the cod sandwich which was hand breaded and had wonderful flavor. I had the sirloin and squash and zucchini and would order this again! Seasonings were delicious and the sirloin was cooked perfectly. If you haven’t given the place a try you should! Locally owned and operated.”

“The customer service could use some improvement. After greeting me, the staff member took a phone order while I waited at the counter. During the 10 minutes I waited for my food, they spent the time playing on their phone. The restaurant is located inside a gas station, which might not appeal to everyone. That said, the food was absolutely fantastic! They are also running a special where you get a free sandwich if you leave a good review with a photo. Next time, I’ll definitely call my order in ahead of time.”

“I called and placed an order for takeout to pick up on my way home from work. Ordered the lunch special teppanyaki steak and shrimp which came with either soup or salad. I arrived to pick up my order and it was ready and waiting. The young woman that greeted me was very friendly and even gave me extra yum yum sauce when I asked for it. When I got home to eat my food, I was very surprised at the portion cause it was a lot! Normally when you order a lunch special you get a smaller version of a regular meal but nope! I definitely could not eat it all! The taste of everything was amazing! Best hibachi I’ve had in awhile! And it’s VERY affordable too! I will definitely be a repeat customer for sure! If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“The food was absolutely amazing!!! I hate to add this but the service was awful!! Wasn't business but took forever to check on us, would be sitting in a booth talking. Didn't bring more chips when we ran out and took forever to get my credit card back! I had to get up and ask for it. Again, the food was the best all the way around and for any of the other places in that area. But I am very unsure about returning and dining in. Very lucky my boyfriend left I tip because I wouldn't have.”

“While vacationing at Sugar Mountain, NC I saw the vintage glass bottles of milk at the Loews grocery store and it reminded me of my childhood getting milk from Aldrich Dairy in my hometown. It was the best milk I’ve had in decades. I never really paid attention to the taste of the milk I drink until this experience. Now the bar has been set at the highest level. I wish my local grocery store in FL would carry products from Hometown Creamery.”

They were both really good and they both had the perfect amount of additions to add flavor! There was also a cute little shop where you could buy extra things.
