“Our first time here and we loved it! Food was excellent! Service was wonderful! Ambiance was great! The only feedback is that the gentleman playing the bouzouki was wonderful (Sat Nov 1, 2025 dinner time). It was a nice touch. However, it was a little too loud. It was hard to hear our conversation with so many customers and the loud music. However, food was delicious and restaurant very charming!!! We will definitely be back this month!!!! We loved it!!!“

“My fiancée and I pre-ordered online as we were returning to Herndon. When we arrived, the restaurant had received our order but they hadn’t been notified about it, so they said it would be just a few minutes. The owner was extremely apologetic and offered us a complimentary baklava as an apologetic gesture. As the kitchen prepared our order, we chatted the the owner (Sarfraz) and he was extremely pleasant. We tried the hummus, tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, gyro sandwich and chicken souvlaki sandwich. Everything was well seasoned, fresh tasting (even at 8pm), and reasonably priced. Definitely cannot wait to go back and try more - esp. since we live less than a mile away…dangerous! They’re admittedly still getting their feet under them as they JUST opened, but highly recommend giving this place a shot!“

“This Greek restaurant in Potomac, MD is a hidden gem. The lobster spaghetti was rich and perfectly balanced, and the dessert—simple, elegant, unforgettable. The menu is carefully curated, and it shows. This is their second restaurant—the first has been around for over 30 years. They know what they’re doing. Small space, so definitely make a reservation—but bar seating is just as good (we sat there and loved it). Carlos the bartender and the whole staff were amazing. We were the only Black/brown folks there, and felt completely welcomed. Don’t miss this spot—real food, real hospitality, real experience.“

“We had the big combo dinner for 2-3 people for $70. The food was very good. Wait time was OK. Service was pretty good. As the place filled up on a Friday night, it got a little loud. We had no idea where this location was so followed GPS. Turns out it's right next to a grocery store and you can park in the grocery store' parking lot, so that was nice. Only complaint is that the lights are on low, so it's quite difficult to read the menu without light from your phone. The staff said the lights are low to facilitate a "fine dining" experience, but that's not really what this restaurant is anyway.“

Biscuits and gravy were amazing and my wife had a delicious looking omelette that she wouldn't share, so great food. Not highway robbery. This is the diner experience Im looking for!

“In recent years there seems to be a proliferation of small-plate Mediterranean restaurants. But Yayla remains as one of the best, reasonably priced originals in northern Virginia. There is a pleasing range of mezzes, salads, entrees hot and cold, flat breads, spreads, etc . I had a Yayla mule, 3 spreads, lemony rice soup and superb shrimp. Friends chose a range of other dishes. I can guarantee whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh and beautifully presented. “The gentleman at the counter had wonderful customer service. We paid for our food even brought it to the table, which was very nice. It felt like fine dining, he gave us a bit of conversation and seem like such a pleasant gentlemen. I enjoyed the food. It was amazing. I eat every drop and the baklava ice cream with everything took a friend for the first time. My friend said he enjoyed it, and we will definitely be back again. I recommend this place highly if you love Greek food and gyros.“

“Hidden gem of a shop, literally as you have to navigate through an office building to get there. The presumably owner was wonderful and very helpful, he also emphasized his use of extra virgin olive oil for health. I don’t think the Chicken Msakhen I got was on the online menu, but so so tasty.

More of a takeout shop than a date night vibe, but it does have free WiFi! Please consider giving them your business, it’s so worth it“

“Their pizzas are incredible, and the Greek and Italian dishes never disappoint. Even the salads, starters, and hotdogs are solid. The restaurant manager Fadi and Henry are super friendly. I have been coming here at least once a week, and I love it. Definitely one of the best spots in the area :)“
