“(My husband's name is on this review, and I have no idea how to change it.)I hadn't been to Musasi in several years, but just the memory of the delicious food lured me there yesterday - out of the blue.Luckily, I was the first to arrive after they opened, so I got to sit there and be sentimental for a few minutes before the friendly woman came and took my order. I ordered the Bulgogi Lunch Box, and tried to wait patiently for my order - but it was hard.Luckily, the delicious soup arrived first. It was perfect temperature, and I loved it.By the time my Bulgogi came, I could almost taste it before it arrived. Sure enough, it was excellent - just as I remember it. But, there was more: A delicious salad, 3 beautiful pieces of California sushi, a fried dumpling (perfectly fried, too) a little perfect eggroll,3 little broccoli (which I don't like, but I ate one anyway), some kind of noodle dish which made my mouth water, perfectly cook rice with a sauce on it that was awesome, and...Bulgogi! OMG!By the time I was done, I wanted to lay my head on the table out of satisfaction. I couldn't finish all of it, and the smiling, friendly Sushi Chef teased me when I left some of his beautiful creation on my plate. :)All in all, thank you Musasi. A great meal, with great memories behind it! I sincerely appreciate it!“
“When you are in a foreign country, it's hard to find a good home style restaurant. But this place is an authentic Korean restaurant. All side dishes and soups, especially I love their Kimbop. It is legit!! I'm so happy to find this nice restaurant. Also, everyone's who works there is very nice. They even put on Korean News on TV! It made me feel like I'm back at home ❤️.“
“This has become a favorite restaurant of mine. They have “wonderful” sushi and their service is also “wonderful.” I haven’t tried anything other than sushi here, except the miso soup, which is also “wonderful.” Everything is fresh, very tasty, and service is also excellent! It truly is a “wonderful” restaurant!“
“We stopped on our way out of Virginia Beach 10 years ago, and loved it so much we wanted to stop again some time. So 10 years later, we stopped again. Same nice lady and good food we remembered. Nothing fancy, just good food and genuinely nice people who appreciate your business. We’ll look forward to stopping again, hopefully not quite as long this time!“
“Everything I had was delicious and fresh. I loved the whole cut and dine right at your table. Great way to learn new cooking ideas. The atmosphere was very nice but busy. Our waiter a as very polite and courteous. He was very helpful on things to try on an off menu. Will definitely be going back!“
“I’m a Korean food self proclaimed connoisseur. :) I’ve eaten it my entire life since birth, from my mother to all my aunties, to cooking it myself and let me say- they have the best Korean food in 757. It’s most authentic to how the food should taste and not so Americanized. This is my fav go to spot for takeout or a nice dinner date. I’ve also attended a few private catered parties here. The Grandma makes the best kimchi. Catered dishes differ from the main menu. It’s all around just so delicious! The Owners are very kind and I’ve always felt very welcomed.“
“First time in this place last weekend and I really wish I had eaten there more often before moving out of the area. Chicken is crispy, if you want spice, they have it, and on top of that the service and the people behind the counter are amazing and friendly. You know it’s a good place if the chicken stays crispy on a takeout order. Definitely recommend the restaurant if you are looking for a local chicken spot.“
