Had great experience, friendly service and never had a bad experience yet, compared to other sushi place, this is really affordable 😎👍
Please save your money. I walked in and it smelled like a sour mop. They brought plastic spoons for the miso soup and plastic containers for the sou sauce, very odd for a nice restaurant. They're clearly cutting corners. The food kept the same theme. The crunch on my crunch roll was stale, the avocado in my rainbow roll was brown. It also had a funny taste. We did not trust it. The food was great but not exceptional for the Hampton Roads area. I went on a Monday so the place was very quiet and peaceful, I am sure on a Friday or weekends the atmosphere would shift to accommodate the occasion very well. Service was good as well, I did not have any complaints.

Based on the reviews, Sushi King Hampton offers good food and great service. The quality of the fish is outstanding, and the rolls are crafted with care and precision, with not too much rice. The sushi and fried rice was good, but the Salmon Terrayaki was very hard and dry with unseasoned veggies. Service is prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable, and the managers help with what to order. The restaurant has a cool, relaxed vibe and a clean, modern ambiance. However, there is a roach problem they’ve been dealing with for years. The food and service are really good, and many guests will return.
