I was looking for a “hole in the wall”… and I found just that! Bbq sandwhich, string beans. And baked beans $14! And it was sooo good! They neatly packaged my to go box to make sure my beans didn’t run into ny sandwich and my bread wasn’t Soggy!! I’m a VABeacher so finding this spot on this side of the water, was truly luck! Will be back!
From the moment you open that door and the bells rings, you come into a bit of Hampton Food History! Every week for 14 years I would drive from Armstrong Elementary during lunch to get me a BBQ Sandwich, extra hot, extra slaw… all the way! Can’t forget the plain chips and a coke with a straw!

This place is a hidden gem! Everything was good! The portion sizes are gracious for the cost. I ordered the rib dinner. I did have to pop the ribs in the air fryer once I got home, but they were good after that. There is no seating here, so be mindful of that, but a great place to grab a meal on the way home for sure!
