“Found this diner while staying at Massanutten. We had a cup of soup, the tuna salad plate which had tuna, potato salad and Cole slaw over lettuce with tomatoes and cukes, and four wedges of pita bread. Very filling and good. Also, crab cake sandwich, which was huge filling the deli roll, with lettuce and tomato. Service was great. The dining area was clean and bright. We will definitely visit again.“

“This place was AWESOME! Best sweet tea I’ve ever had! Their fries are AMAZING! Our family got chicken tenders, brisket, a steak, wings and the fish and every single thing was just incredible. No complaints at ALL! Our waitress Allison was attentive and sweet and they were packed! Definitely a 10/10! Definitely recommend!“

“This place is incredible. The atmosphere is slightly speak-easy-esque. The staff is knowledgeable, engaging, and truly seems to care about the customers’ experience. We came here after getting married earlier today and passing through Harrisonburg on our way to our destination. We needed dinner and it was THE RIGHT PICK. Michael, our server, and Steph, a manager or a GM equivalent, were seriously the BOMB. Soo accommodating and kind, and cared about our evening. The spicy Marg … insanely satisfying. CRAZY kick of flavor without the straight burn of something that’s spicy just to BE the spiciest. The tincture that makes it spicy is made in house. Amazing! And the spicy burger … also incredible. “Nice lunch experience here. The food was delicious, service was good. I went there with both of my parents with walkers, they have easy accessibility. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms.
Parking: Nice parking lot.
Wheelchair accessibility: Went in with two people with walkers. They had no problem in the restaurant.“

“My boyfriend and I were in town to celebrate 4th of July and we stumbled upon this gem. I'm vegetarian and loved that they have so many unique plant-based dishes. We loved the risotto, goat cheese balls and bread we ordered as appetizers. My sweet potato, tofu and artichoke bowl was yummy too even though the tofu could've used more flavor and tasted a bit bland. The server was wonderful and the entire venue is so unique and cozy.“

“Dec. 2023, we had our worse restaurant experience ever. My past review still shows here. After my review, we got a call from Applebee's asking us to give them another chance. I said no way because that visit had been us giving them a second chance. Eventually they offered us a large enough gift card that I took it. We just got around to using it and everything was good. Seated right away, service was excellent, low volume music was enjoyable, food came out quickly, and the food tasted good. We will be going back.“
“This Steak 'n Shake is located on James Madison University Campus in the D-Hall building. The menu is limited, but it has the essential Steak 'n Shake items - burgers, chicken strips, and milkshakes! Prices are about the same as a traditional location. For non-campus members, visiting may be hard due to parking restrictions.“

“Adam Caldwell was a wonderful waiter. I had my entire family with my tonight and at one point in the night my child was crying. Adam Caldwell brought out a pack and play and sang my baby to sleep with a lullaby. After this, he offered me a free oil change and tire rotation as he held my hand out to my car. I would highly recommend eating at this establishment, as long as you ask for Adam Caldwell.“
