“Being a traveler from Norfolk...I discovered this Beautiful lil Vibe of a place when I was dropping my baby girl off to the VCU about 7mins away...We wanted something Black Owned ✊??...And although we didn't eat there that day we were walking by and I met the mother of the owner and her spirit is the reason I am now a flaunt visitor...I love the food and the live music...On top of the karaoke nights .... Each and every time I visit whether it's on a Friday or Saturday I Always bring someone new with me to be able to enjoy that beautiful experience...I recommend if you're loving for a vibe great food good music and wonderful memories and service on top of supporting a Black woman owned business....Here is it“
“Arrr, I’ve sailed to Väsen Brewery a fair few times, I have! I be likin' to give me review after a couple o' visits—seems only fair, eh? So far, I’ve no gripes to speak of, but even if I did, what good’d it do? Every brew I’ve tasted be top-notch! I especially love takin' me dog there, too—'tis a fine escape when the weather be foul and I’m feelin' cooped up. Me last visit was with me ol' dad, and he had naught but praise fer Väsen as well. Arrr!“

“Great location, beer garden is great. Beer is quality and continues to improve. Love their IPA series. (That was before) I now work in the neighborhood and Ardent is my go to spot. The X is a quality and consistent member of my IPA beer diet and I enjoy trying their rotating seasonals across the board. The adjacency to Eazzy Burger and ZZQ are solid adds to the site and it is absolutely the best beer garden in Richmond. Also the staff is amazing.“

“One of the best cheesesteaks you will ever have! I will swear that John's Roast Pork in Philly is the best/ my favorite, this is probably as good, only thing it is lacking is the geographical location. Also the Wedge Salad is insanely good.“
“The food was delicious. Make sure you wait at the front. The hostess caught a bit of an attitude because they had removed their 'Please wait to be seated sign', and I walked in and went to sit down. The breakfast has was gluten free and absolutely scrumptious. Great atmosphere. Good coffee.

“I ordered from DoorDash. I got a Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. It was not bad. I was just really missing some red hot sauce. It's very filling and easily two meals. I didn't expect whole beans, but didn't mind it.The grilled scallions were huge! It was just missing some lime.Nothing major stood out.“

“I stayed here for a week with work and I found the Bar Restaurant to be perfectly fine. Staff very pleasant and professional. I had either the Caesar Salad with Chicken or Byrd Park Burger with Fries and no complaints. IPA beers also nice. It lacks atmosphere but that's understandable. I was quite happy in my own company after long day at work watching the Basketball on big screen.“
“It's the hotel lobby. It's not a true restaurant. You order at the bar. The salmon bowl was fantastic. But if you're looking for a sit down with a restaurant feel, this isn't it. The front desk staff looked confused when we said we made a reservation. But the food was very good!“

“I love this restaurant! While living around the Mechanicsville area, my husband and I loved to get Chori Pollo. So much so that even now that we have moved away, I will still pop by for this tasty dish. Consistently tasty, well prepared, always on time for pick up and the staff is kind. I have never had any issues, and highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Current veggie burger nails it. Kudos to UM chef for making a delicious homemade veggie burger from simple, natural ingredients. Holds together on the bun with all the toppings and cheese. Love the spicy garlic aioli. I added avocado and even stuffed a bunch of the side salad greens under the top bun. Very satisfying meal for veggie people.“

“My shrimp bowl at red hibachi was delicious! One of the best seasoned/tasting bowls I’ve had! Love the variety of sauces offered, especially the spicy mustard. The staff was very friendly and had great recommendations on what to order. Great spot for a quick, healthy, delicious lunch. Will return!“
