“I have read the reviews prior to coming in and dining. However, I like to form my own opinions and the service was amazing. Along with the great menu choices there's something for everyone. The drinks could have been a little less water down however I feel as though the bartender got into a group, and started to make a really delicious drink. The Sunday prime rib special is the best, but we tried several appetizers and all were really good. Only one that was a little questionable was the avocado as they were a little over cooked.“

“Ninja is an incredibly unique and incredibly great tasting kombucha. I’ve lived many places in Virginia, and this is the best one I’ve had. I even prefer it over Health Ade, Forage, Rowdy Mermaid and Dr. Brew (I’ve tried a bunch). The owner pays particular attention to the formulation, making it so much better than those others I’ve tried. With many unique flavors in its line, I highly recommend!“

So far, I’ve no gripes to speak of, but even if I did, what good’d it do? Every brew I’ve tasted be top-notch! I especially love takin' me dog there, too—'tis a fine escape when the weather be foul and I’m feelin' cooped up. Me last visit was with me ol' dad, and he had naught but praise fer Väsen as well. In a world with too many beers that are hop-monsters or ABV queens, Richbrau's beer offerings are stunningly balanced. Whether their style of beer is to your liking or not (it is definitely to mine), you will respect the products. They make interesting beer. If I lived in closer than 100 miles, this would be a regular joint for me.
The DDH Dapper Thief DIPA is on my short list of most interesting beers I have had all year.“

“One of my favorite spots in Scott’s Addition! Great beer selection (looooove having more than one sour option on draft) and the atmosphere is nice and cozy. Love catching a game on the rooftop or a movie night downstairs on the projector. Staff go above and beyond and always have great recommendations.“

“Terrific staff and beer as always. New set up is terrible. Nobody wants to have a full service brewery. Nobody wants to have to reserve a table. Please go back to original set up. let us sit where we want. order a beer when we want. If we want full service we will go to the restaurant side. This may work at the other locations, but Richmond isn't Charlottesville. This was our goto brewery, today's has us thinking differently now“

“Great little restaurant inside a brewery called The Veil...located in Scott's Addition area of Richmond VA. Order your food and drinks at the counter and pick it up when ready. The restaurant is owned by a former chef at Longoven which used to be a favorite restaurant of my family for special occasions. Nikoribi environment is contemporary with a cool fun vibe and the food is influenced by Asian cuisine. Attention is paid to the details and the presentation with various garnishes is a very special touch. Everything I have ordered has excellent taste and is visually appealing. My family stopped by on Mothers Day and I enjoyed a glass of Rose Brut which had just the right amount of sweetness and bubbly. Soft sell crab sandwiches were on the menu and served with fries. One of the best soft shell sandwiches ever. We had fried dumplings, pork skewers, a rice and pork bowl...all were delicious. Outdoor patio is available and you will find an awesome selection of canned and draft beers in a unique and fun atmosphere.“

“Stumbled upon Way Gone Brewery, what a fun place to taste some local beers, and also play a few games, while you chat and enjoy time together. Would make a great pit stop while in the area. We tried 5 of the many beers, through 4oz glasses at $3.00 each. Makes for a great day date or night date.“
