“I held my final Board Meeting of the year at Bartizan the first week of December. I asked that the room be festive and cozy and they knocked it out of the park. The food was delicious with many of my members saying it was the best steak they had ever eaten! Although all of this was great, the best part of the event was the team and staff I worked with to plan the meeting. My Board is still talking about the meeting and how great it was and trust me, that doesn't happen often!“

“Let me be clear, this restaurant is not for everyone. I am a native of Richmond and coming "home" does not always feel like home. But this restaurant felt like for a few hours nothing else mattered. Like Auntie was in the kitchen making my plate special and I laughed and talked over glassES of wine. It felt like a sanctuary away from all of the fast paced franchises and finally some real cooking made with love. It felt like a staff that cared about your life and investment in the community. It was a place built around love. Love is rarely fast and easy, but over a slow simmer it will always bring beauty. So as I said, it's not for everyone, but if you have some time to let love in.. you might as well enjoy some wine and good food in the process.“

“Being a traveler from Norfolk...I discovered this Beautiful lil Vibe of a place when I was dropping my baby girl off to the VCU about 7mins away...We wanted something Black Owned ✊??...And although we didn't eat there that day we were walking by and I met the mother of the owner and her spirit is the reason I am now a flaunt visitor...I love the food and the live music...On top of the karaoke nights .... Our friend with Celiac could choose from almost the entire menu which is unheard of, especially at an Italian restaurant. “Cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant. We went on a cold evening when we just didn't have the energy to cook ourselves. Perfect choice! Had fresh fish of the day- super fresh and perfectly prepared. Perfect server. Home made Ceasar salad to start. Again, just right. Highly recommend!!!“
