“The venue was lovely, the staff was friendly and attentive and everyone had a great time. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed that it was passed so conversations didn't have to be interrupted to get food or somewhere was needed to set plates down.“

“I am beyond obsessed with Celladora, anytime I’m in Richmond you will find me here. :) Megan the owner is an absolute dear, wealth of knowledge, funny, kind. The food is explorative, fun, tasty, perfect, curious and deliiiiicious!!! An absolute must, text them for a reservation. If brunch you gotta pancake, if dinner buy a bottle, or two!!“

“I’ve come here a few times on a friend’s recommendation. I enjoyed myself. I love the small space because I don’t care for crowds. But it can easily get crowded in there. I’d love to see Harlym Blue’Z with a slightly bigger space. The vibes are there. I enjoy the Karaoke Nights and all they have to offer. No major complaints aside from wishing they had a bigger place.“

“It was a chilly evening and we decided to stop by this newish French wine bar/café at the corner of Main and Lombardy. Of course the space isn’t newish to us as we have been going there for many years and watched its many iterations from Stonewall Cafe to now, Jardin. The food was incredible, even better than expected. Everyone there was having fun, drinking wine, eating great food with friends .. and the wait staff was great and the servers at the bar equally great. The outdoor seating was packed and everyone there was having fun also! We bought a bottle of Balthazar Cotes du Rhone & and hope to be returning to Jardin again soon…“

“Truly enjoyable meal in a great neighborhood restaurant. Everything was delicious and the service excellent. We enjoyed a lovely cauliflower appetizer, a beautiful, simple fresh salad. Three of our party enjoyed the rock fish. The 4th had an amazing sea food stew with spaghetti. Clearly a favorite of the locals. You won’t be disappointed. (Best to make a reservation.) A little noisy…..“

“We ate at La Grotta for the first time last night. It will be the first of many! The service, food, and ambiance were spectacular. We were a party of 3 and each of us cleaned our plates. Our friend with Celiac could choose from almost the entire menu which is unheard of, especially at an Italian restaurant. If you're looking for a truly delicious meal, you'll find it at La Grotta! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“My husband asked the bartender/head mixologist, Steve Yang, for a gin based dealer's choice and he made the most wonderful drink I've had in a long time. He called it "Some kind of wonderful" it had dill, yogurt, and some other stuff and tasted like some hard to find European candy. Awesome!“

“Tried the Stanley’s Cheesesteak - it was delicious! And big. I could only eat half and took the other half home. I was disappointed in the $3 add for fries, so just went with the chips, which I believe were just your average Lay’s potato chips on the plate. Service was kind, but also forgetful/got our order mixed up - for instance, I wanted the regular, full experience Stanley’s cheesesteak and my friend wanted the same with no peppers, and both came out with no peppers. My friend had asked for a box and never received the box, and the server took up the plate and tossed his other half. Lots of flies roaming around in the dining area. All in all, good sandwich but subpar experience otherwise.“

“Brunch here is always a treat. Cocktails are creative & delicious. Seasonal menu changes to match current exhibits make for diverse choices that never fail to please the palate. And as always service is excellent. Can't wait for the next visit. Thanks, Tom & Anne“
“Good food, good drinks, and better atmosphere. Staff was amazing. Very good oysters, ordered a dozen. I asked offhand what kind of vinegar was in the minionette, and they wrote down all of the ingredients for me! I really appreciated that they went out of their way to help me out! I'm making the minionette for Thanksgiving for my family and my mom is on hospice, so I want everything to be perfect. It means so much to me that they took the time on a busy Friday to do that for me.“

“We ate at the Mechanicsville location on our way home from out of state. I always order a chimichanga every time I have Mexican, which is often. I ordered one today with ground beef. When it was brought out to me it looked like a taquito ( a 1/3 of the size). A manager came over and was not happy when I told him that. He said that was their normal size chimi’s. To top it all off when I took my first bite it was lovely.“

“Server who was also the host and bartender on a Monday afternoon was great. He held it down. The grilled chicken sandwich was awesome. Flavorful. Fries were crispy. The price was reasonable like other restaurants with chicken sandwiches. Definitely not over priced.“

“We had our 20 year alumni event for about 24 people with dinner, drinks, and dessert. Melissa was super responsive to questions and alterations for the event and the food and service were awesome when we attended. The 2 servers did an excellent job.“
